Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy or reality TV and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments. So, keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!

Drama: Blindspot, “I Came to Sleigh” – Is it too late? Is it really done?

Reade’s (Rob Brown) death set up the rest of the final episodes and characters’ storylines. For Tasha (Audrey Esparza), in particular, his death has her thinking about when everything will be done. Esparza’s performance was great at the moment she speaks to everyone about how they will never truly be done. There will always be more. They will keep fighting, but it will be tough to deal with it. It’s tragic to see everything she goes through while watching Reade die. His death is going to take a toll on her and it’s going to change her for the remainder of the show. She pulled off many moments of showing her anger and sadness. It’ll be interesting to see the actions she takes next.

Comedy/Reality TV: Betty, “Zen and the Art of Skateboarding” – Comments have been turned off.

Donald (Caleb Eberhardt) tells Janay (Dede Lovelace) that he turned the comments on their YouTube video off for her. When Janay finally learns the real reason the comments were turned off, the show gives us its first intriguing moment to explore. Donald’s being accused of some kind of sexual assault and one of the commenters are trying to blast it for the viewers to know. He says he didn’t do it and Janay seems to believe him, but the truth is still unknown. Seeing where this storyline takes the friendship should be interesting moving forward.

Sci-fi/Fantasy: Solar Opposites, “The MatterTransfer Array” – A jumbled mess of wacky shenanigans.

The premiere episode of “Solar Opposites” was hilarious and wild. There was endless chaos and the sci-fi element to the real world was a wacky twist. The alien kids and their way of adapting to school and bullies was fun to watch. I especially liked the part where they’ve decided to shrink one of the bullies down. It’s horrible that they tortured her, but you can tell they really have no idea how to handle things on Earth. They also have quick solutions to their issues that aren’t very efficient. I wonder how they’ll evolve over time.
