What to Watch This Week

Sunday:

The Emmys – Tonight is TV’s biggest award show! With no host, we’re hoping this means we’ll get to see more trophy’s being award as opposed to awkward antics. (FOX, 8pm ET/PT)

Monday:

9-1-1 – The new seasons starts with an out of control teenage driver on the freeway. Plus, when a routine traffic stop leads to the discovery of a kidnapping all officers are on alert. (FOX, 8pm ET/PT)

The Good Doctor – Season 3 starts off with Shaun hoping to perform radical surgery on a newlywed. Can he convince the hospital to help him save a life? (ABC, 10pm ET/PT)

Tuesday:

Empire – Season 6 picks up with Lucious as a wanted fugitive. Cookie, though, is focused on her future and what that means outside of Empire. (FOX, 9pm ET/PT)

This Is Us – This season begins with a flashback to Rebecca meeting Jack’s parents for the first time. We also get to meet some new friendly faces. (NBC, 9pm ET/PT)

Wednesday:

The Goldbergs – Time to hit the road! In the season premiere the family take a car trip to Disneyland. Cue Clark Griswald! (ABC, 8pm ET/PT)

Suits – Tonight is the end of an era as we bid a goodbye to this incredible series. With the potential of having to dismantle the firm, the partners go all out to save their second home. (USA, 9pm ET/PT)

Stumptown – Colbie Smulders returns to TV as a private investigator. Add Michael Ealy and Jake Johnson for some serious action and adventure. (ABC, 10pm ET/PT)

Thursday:

Superstore – Mateo is deeply missed in the season premiere. Amy does her best to help the staff cope with his absence. (NBC, 8pm ET/PT)

The Good Place – Eleanor is now the architect! Let’s see what she has in store for three new residents. s see what she has in store for three new residents.

Friday:

The Politician – Ben Platt heads to TV in this dark satire. Payton Hobart has always had dreams of running the country, but his first step is becoming President of the Student Body. See how Payton navigates the cutthroat world of high school. (Netflix)

Hawaii Five-0 – The Season1 0 premiere starts with the departure of a fan favorite character. However, a new ally arrives to lend a hand with the mob bosses on the islands that have become the target of an assassin! (CBS, 8pm ET/PT)
