Young and Hungry – Young and Motorcycle

The show opens with Gabi (Emily Osment) entering her kitchen. She is excited that she got a brand new used motorcycle. Sofia (Aimee Carrero), who seems lost and distracted, says she is freaking out. Gabi thinks it is about the motorcycle and talks about how there is no need to freak out because she used to ride with her aunt all the time. 

 

However, the freak out is about the fact that it is her third date with Nick, which means bow-chick-a-wow-wow. Gabi tells her not to worry, but Sofia says it has to be amazing. Gabi assures her it will be fine and says she will stay at Josh’s on her new motorcycle while showing him some dangerous moves.

 

At Josh’s (Jonathan Sadoski) place, Gabi enters saying she has a surprise for him. He thinks it is something sexual, but she wants to show him her motorcycle. She is still excited, but he thinks it is bad. He tells her he won’t allow her to ride it and to get rid of it, causing her to get angry.

 

Elliot (Rex Lee) is taking selfies when Yolanda (Kym Whitley) walks in. He shows her the pictures and she says he looks skinny and it must be a defective tablet. He wonders where this was online dating and quips he could have done better than Alan. Yolanda looks shocked.

 

Josh and Gabi walk in, still fighting. She is mad he won’t let her ride her motorcycle. Elliot and Yolanda are watching, and Elliot hopes this is a big fight. He thinks she will hurt herself, but she says she has her license and rode with her uncle. He stands firm, saying doctors refer to motorcycles as “donor-cycles” because 90% of donations come from motorcycle riders. She says she isn’t a donor, so it doesn’t matter and he instills a no-motorcycle policy. Gabi says there are so many different ways to die. Elliot says that she never does. 

 

Sofia and Nick (Chris Smith) go back to the apartment. She seems agitated, but they go to the couch to makeout. However, he keeps hearing noises and she makes excuses, all the while looking and acting as if she is in pain or sick. Gabi walks in, shielding her eyes and saying she is there to get some things so she can sleep at Yolanda’s. She plans to tell her tomorrow, but Sofia hints that she needs her to stay. Gabi plays along, saying she needs her best friend. Nick says she will give them privacy in the other room, but Sofia and Gabi convince him to leave. Sofia says Gabi might have to go to Yolanda’s and runs to the bathroom. 

 

Gabi goes to Yolanda’s and scares her into thinking she is the police. She says she almost flushed her stash. Gabi thinks Josh is trying to control her with the bike and when he wants to eat. Yolanda tells Gabi she is his chef and she says she is taking his side. 

 

They go to get her bike only to find it missing.  She thinks Josh took it and goes to his house in a rage. They pretend they were on a motorcycle ride and Yolanda quips that the last time she felt something vibrating that hard between her legs it had batteries. 

 

Josh is mad she rode the bike and threw it in her face. She asks him where he was and he said he was at home. She accuses him of lying and stealing her bike. He is mad she accused him of stealing the bike. He goes into his office to wait for an apology. They see Elliot sitting there looking guilty, so they take away his tablet until he confesses that Josh made him steal it. Josh overhears Elliot’s confession and plans to show them where the bike is, so he grabs keys and makes a run for it. 

 

Sofia and Nick have another date and plans for sex when she ends up with an allergic reaction to the flowers he gave her. She takes some medication while he says giving Lilacs is a tradition in his family. He goes to get champagne while she takes more medicine. She ends up passing out while he drinks the champagne.

 

Elliott takes them to the bike, only to find out it is actually missing. They call Josh, only to find he is riding it. Gabi yells at him and hears him crash. Yolanda thinks maybe they lost signal because he is in a tunnel. Gabi says he might be in a tunnel with light at the end of it. They rush to the house as Gabi calls 9-1-1 to report the accident. She tells the whole story, only find out she called  4-1-1.

 

Josh is actually at a biker bar, where he was rescued by a good Samaritan biker (Bubba Ganter). Another woman (Karly Rothenberg) checks him out and says he has good road rash. He looks at it and faints. 

 

Sofia wakes up on the couch while Nick kills the champagne. She is happy he is still there, but sad they didn’t do it. He carries her to the bedroom when her phone rings. He says it kept ringing while she was asleep. She goes to get it, only to find out it’s Gabi’s phone. Gabi, Yolanda and Elliot are in the penthouse. Gabi is freaking out and admits she loves him. The phone rings and it is Sofia, who knows what is going on with Josh.

 

Josh is still at the bar, embarrassed he fainted when the female who checked him out says “Spider!” He freaks out, but Spider is the bartender.

 

Elliot, Yolanda and Gabi arrive at the bar where she is happy to see him, but yells at him for riding the bike. The female rescuer says she called her since she is his ICE or In Case of Emergency. They hug, exchange I love you’s and agree to never go on the bike again. She sells it to some random dude in the bar while Yolanda promises to take pictures of Elliot with his Skinnypad tablet. 

 

The show ends with Sofia and Nick arriving at the bar. She yells at Gabi once she realizes Josh is ok because she was about to have sex. Nick takes Sofia aside to talk about why they had trouble having sex. She wanted it to be perfect and he wanted it to be memorable, so they decide to have sex in the biker bathroom. The bikers who rescued Josh say they knew it was going to happen.
