“America’s Got Talent: The Champions” continued its second season with the start of the semi-finals, featuring acts from all around the world. Terry Crews hosts while Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Simon Cowell and Alesha Dixon judge.

Tonight twelve acts will perform with six joining the four Golden Buzzer acts.

1. JJ Pantano – Comedian from “Australia’s Got Talent 2019” – Semi-finalist

He is the kid comedian whose schtick seems to be roasting the judges. It is quite interesting. It is not my kind of humor, but still he does a good job. My favorite moment is when he jokes about Heidi liking younger men and wonders if he has a chance.

The judges like him and Simon hopes that he makes it into the finals.

2. Tyler Butler-Figueroa – Violinist from “America’s Got Talent” 2019 – Finalist

Tyler plays “What A Wonderful World” and is accompanied by a singer. He is a phenomenal, but the extra singer wasn’t needed. Why did he even add a singer? He was perfect on his own. That being said, this is still an act I’d pay to see.

Simon agrees that the extra singer wasn’t needed, but loves him…as do the other judges. Howie says he wants him to keep playing.

3. Mark Spellman/X – Magician from “Britain’s Got Talent” 2019 – Runner-up

This was one of my favorite acts coming out of the gate, but tonight didn’t seem to measure up. He has Terry as a part of it and X ends up with Terry’s wife? What? I am so confused.

Howie, Simon and Heidi are all disappointed. Alesha seems to like it, so there’s that.

4. Duo Destiny – Hand to Hand Duo  from “Poland’s Got Talent” 2018 – Winner

This act is so sexy and fun to watch. The balancing and strength is breathtaking…I am always captivated by them and tonight is no different.

Alesha, Heidi and Simon love them and Heidi says that they NEED to be in the finals.

5. Hans – Singer/Dancer/Musician from “America’s Got Talent” 2018 – Quarter-finalist

Hans is always good for a laugh and entertainment. He does a mock political campaign and covers Danke Shein, Bang Bang and a ton of other things I miss because I am laughing so hard. I will pay to see this act as well. I said what I said, this is brilliant!

Alesha thinks it is the best act of the night while Howie wants him to “Make America Glitter Again.” Heidi wants time to run for President.

6. Dania Díaz – Magician from “Spain’s Got Talent” 2018 – Finalist

Her act is a card act whilst telling her life story. It is understated and helps us get to know her on a different level. However, it doesn’t really stand out compared the other acts.

Howie got all teary because he was able to relate to her story while Alesha thinks it was beautiful and “ace.”

7. Duo Transcend – Trapeze/Rollerskating Duo from “America’s Got Talent” 2018 – Finalist

I loved this act last time they performed and this time is no different. This time they are on roller skates with blindfolds involved. I am cheering from start to finish and officially added them to my list of acts to see when they go on tour. There is fun, there is danger and there is everything in between! I am captivated!

Simon thinks it was everything while Heidi wanted it to go on forever.

8. Strauss Serpent – Contortionist from “Africa’s Got Talent” 2018 – Winner

WOW. This is another act that kept me on the edge of my seat. Contortionists always impress me with how they move their bodies and make me wonder how they can do that! It looks amazing, yet painful. Somehow these acts always keep me interested.

Heidi thinks he is her favorite, while Simon thinks he deserves a shot in the finals.

9. Ryan Niemiller – Comedian from “America’s Got Talent” 2019 – Finalist

I love this guy! His humor reminds me of self deprecating humor meets Dad jokes. He always makes me laugh, but I wish he would focus less on his disability and expand a bit more.

Heidi enjoyed it, but preferred his last performance. Simon wanted more ‘fresh’ material, while Alesha and Howie think he has star quality.

10. Alexa Lauenburger – Dog Act from “Das Supertalent” 2017 and Winner/ “Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions” 2019 – Finalist

I definitely have a soft spot for dog acts. This one is no different. The dog jumping over the hurdle is my favorite part, but the whole thing makes me smile and miss my mom’s dogs.

Simon thinks this is Golden Buzzer worthy while Heidi and Howie are all smiles.

11. Sandou Trio Russian Bar – Russian Bar from “America’s Got Talent” 2011 – Semi-finalist

Their act has fire this week making it that more dangerous. It is another one of those acts that I am so captivated by that I can barely write. I don’t know how they do it! The danger scares me, but intrigues me at the same time. Add this to my must see acts.

The judges all agree this act should be in the finals.

12. Marcelito Pomoy – Singer from “Pilipinas Got Talent” 2011 – Winner

He does a singing routine that has him doing both the male and female parts in Italian and English. While it is well done and interesting, I am not sure how much further it can be taken in future acts/

Howie thinks he can win while Heidi says she waited for this act all day. Simon says the surprise is over, so it seems like he is over it.
