Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) I would say my sound is pop with an influence of R&B.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) I really love R&B and rap, that’s why Meek Mill and Tyga have greatly influenced my style of music and the lyrics of my songs.

Q) You previously worked as a model. What made you decide to put your modelling career on hold and pursue a music career?

A) Music has been my passion all my life that’s why I decided to finish my modelling career and follow my dream to be a singer. Singing allows me to express myself more.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) First of all, I come up with a story for the particular song and based on that I then write the cords for that track. After that me, my producer and co-writers find the hook and polish the song.

Q) In the past Eliot Kennedy lent a hand in the production side of your music. How much of hand do you personally have when it comes to the production side of making music?

A) I wrote most of the songs for my debut album with Eliot Kennedy but now I’ve been working with Andrew Yeates.

As I’ve said previously, all the stories are based on my experiences. During the production stage we all discuss the direction of the songs including the choice of instruments, sounds, melodies, etc.

Q) What are some themes you explore on your new album Four Seasons of Love?

A) The main theme of the album is the four stages of love. Each season represents a different stage of love.

Spring is the first stage when love blossoms.

Summer is the second stage when love is intense and passionate.

Autumn is the third stage when you start to see flaws in your relationship.

Winter is fourth stage when you fall out of love, which is usually the hardest stage.

Q) What songs on this particular album challenged you the most to create?

A) I would say only one song challenged me during the writing stage the most and that is “Be Yourself” because this song is very personal to me, and the track is about not being afraid to be yourself and living in the moment.

Q) What tracks hold a special place in your heart and why?

A) All the tracks are different in their own way and have a special place in my heart because they are all about various chapters of my life growing up.

Q) What do you hope listeners of Four Seasons of Love personally take away from checking out this album?

A) I hope listeners can feel all my emotions and the true message behind each track. I hope everyone loves the vibe of the album.

Q) With concerts currently on hold, do you have any plans for livestreaming to promote your new music?

A) I’ve been fortunate to play a live gig in York, which was a lot of fun, and I am really happy to be back on stage after such a long break. Fingers crossed, I will start to play regularly on the concerts and gigs again soon.

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) I like performing at The Bedford and The Troubadour in London because these venues are intimate and have a really good acoustics.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Of course, Meek Mill as he’s one of my favorite rap artists and I would really love to collaborate with him.

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) I normally enjoy listening to music of different music genres. At the moment, I’m listening to DJ Khalid’s new album and the new music by Meek Mill, Tyga, A$AP Ferg, Pop Smoke and Burna Boy.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) It’s important for me to connect with my fan base so I can promote myself and my music. By sharing stories and moments from my life on social media, my followers can get to know the real me.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) I would like to send all my love and appreciation to all of my fans around the world. I would also love to thank them for their continued support, I love you guys from the bottom of my heart!
