Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) My sound is constantly evolving every time I am in the studio. I would call it a mix of Latin meets RnB and Urban.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

My influences are Mariah Carey, JLo and Aaliyah. I love their style, their music and their culture.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Lost in The City.”

A) The story behind “Lost in the City” is about a girl who has a great group of friends that can lift her up when she’s down.  This particular person is a little down and she calls her friends and she’s like, “Hey, let’s hang out and they go out to the city,” and she just forgets about all the negative stuff and just lives in the moment. So, in short, instead of like getting lost in your mind you get lost in the city.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) You know, I think everyone goes through their ups and downs and it’s really important to have a good group of friends that you can count on, who will support you when you’re down.

Q) How will the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) We are just starting two put together the storyboard and I promise it’s going to be great – really excited to shoot it!  Stay tuned!

Q) What makes “Lost in The City” the perfect Summer track?

A) It’s the perfect summer track because of the sick beat – the vibe you know?  It makes you just want to get up and dance and groove. For sure with all the parties happening this summer it’s a track you will want to hear and will get stuck in your head.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) You know, it’s really interesting because some people do the lyrics first, but I create a beat and melody first, the lyrics and concept tend to follow. The beat just gives me all the vibes for the song, but it all depends. If I’m going through something then the lyrics might come first.

Q) How much of a hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I work with an amazing camp! It’s a team of producers called The Architects and I love them all. We work hard, but also make sure that when we are creating it’s always fun. They have helped me to grow so much as a writer/creator and every time I get in the studio with them it’s magic.

Q) Will there be a full EP or album coming in the near future?

A) In the future for sure there will be an album, but for now we are focusing on singles and putting out new music every few weeks!

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) My favorite place to perform is in Miami because that’s my hometown. You cannot beat it because all of my family, friends and fans come out to see me and feeling the support of everyone is beyond amazing.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) I would love to collaborate with Ozuna and Bad Bunny. I think the track would be so sick and I just love both of their styles, swag and everything.

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) I’m actually listening a lot to Tink. Her songs are just so amazing. I’ve been listening to her album Winter’s Diary 2 and it’s so meaningful and inspiring. Everyone should totally hear it.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Yes, I am on IG. Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and (of course) YouTube. I feel social media is such an important way to connect with my fans. It gives me the opportunity to keep in touch and share what’s going on with me – like updates about my life, when my next song is coming out (“Lost in the City” is out now). So, go stream it!

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) I’m so grateful for you guys. You have stuck with me through the ups and downs and I’m so thankful for your support. I can’t do this without you all.  I love you! #neverstopdreaming
