Q) How would you describe your music?

A) The main genre would be pop-rock, but it really depends on whom you ask. Some music magazines consider my music as “perfect polished pop’’ and pop stations play my EP. Alt rock and college stations play my songs, too. Myself, I easily fit my songs to pop-rock, for example “My Little Ten” is inspired by Depeche Mode sounds.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) I love Depeche Mode music, but also their lyrics. I also pay high attention to all kind of movies’ soundtracks, which can inspire me for my song writing process. For example, my song “Bad Story,” which is inspired by Twilight theme.

Q) What was the inspiration behind the title London Grace and it’s cover?

A) That’s kind of easy but could sound maybe tricky. London is the city where I moved from Paris to live and record my debut EP and Grace is my name. Regarding its cover, living in the ‘’Kingdom’’ makes you glorious, even in music. [smile]

Q) What song on the album holds a special place in your heart and why?

A) It’s “My Little Ten,” the first single out of the EP and also the song which opens the EP. I love it as it perfectly reflects my state of mind when I was ten years old, now turned to be eleven since December.

Q) What is your song writing process?

A) I write lyrics inspired by my passions, my daily life routine, relations with my school mates… I also listen to so many various songs – English, French, American, Russian, so I am like a sponge with all what catches my ear.

Q) What kind of fan response have you gotten to your single “My Little Ten?”

A) This song is the voice of our generation which has a limited opportunity to express today. Fans of my generation are happy that it also reflects how they feel about our world.

Q) Is it difficult managing school with your musical endeavors?

A) It is not difficult if you are well organized. Every week end I have an agenda of things to do for the coming week and today with online learning it’s even more manageable.

Q) As a theatre kid, do you have any future plans to release a musical theatre compilation album?

A) Interesting question! This is an open point for me as I made quite a few covers on music theatre songs and I also study in Pauline Quirke Performing Arts Academy, so why not? I will certainly think about it.

Q) Who would you love to collaborate with on a future project?

A) My absolute dream is to co-sing with Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode. But being realistic today I am in touch with different producers and DJs to release something outstanding in 2021.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who are fans and supporters of your music?

A) I am impressed by the quantity of positive and inspiring messages I receive every week, fans, music industry professionals, other singers… London Grace confirms that music is my world and I would like to tell my supporters that it is just a beginning and that the future is our story to write together!
