Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) My sound is an infusion of how I grew up. I grew up going to bonfires where they played Tim McGraw, George Strait, Nelly, and Tupac all at the same party. Basically, if nelly, Michael Jackson and Kid Rock had a baby…. I’d be it.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Nelly, Eminem, George Strait, Colt Ford and Blake Shelton.

Q) Tell us about your song, “Ride4Me.”

A) “Ride4Me” is a smash! TikTok has taken it and run with it. It has over ten million views even before the song was released. I can’t wait to see what the world does when it comes out on May 14. I think this will be the song that sets us into a new category.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Yodelay You Down.”

A) “Yodelay You Down” is a very sexual song, but also a love story. This song was written about my wife Ashley, and I wanted to make sure that I showed the world how important she is to me and lyrically how she rocks my world!

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) Fans connect to real, party songs that give off a real vibe. That’s how I make all my music. I want my fans to connect my lyrics to their lives.

Q) How does the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) Well, for “Yodelay You Down” it was a very sexual video, and it places the woman in charge. The man is chasing the woman in the video and has to earn her love.

In “Ride 4 Me” the video is just a party that shows how we are all gonna turn up and have a great time.

Q) How did you come to partner with Forbes.com for the video’s premiere?

A) Because my record label and Director of PR, Claire, are literally the best in the biz. She presented it to them, and they were interested!

Q) What is your songwriting process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) I co-write songs with other writers. I’m the storyteller and I’ll set it like a movie and then all of a sudden, we have a jam on our hands.

Q) How hands-on are you in the production of your music?

A) I am hands-on throughout the entire process. I have to be because I am a psycho when it comes to sound and vibes in a song, so I try to interject my influence on all parts of the song.

Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?

A) We are going to be releasing so much music this year it’s gonna be crazy. Like I have said before, y’all get ready cause we are here to win. In the words of Conor McGregor, “We aren’t here to take part we are here to take over.”

Q) With concerts currently on hold, what do you miss most about being on stage?

A) I have sold out four of four shows so far in 2021. There ain’t nothing on hold over here! We put shows together and my fans travel in and we party. I will always find a way to entertain my fans in person.

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) Mockingbird Theater in Franklin, TN is a favorite place to perform. That place is awesome because it’s a warehouse-style venue, the sound is awesome and it’s more than enough room to have a lot of people in to have a great time.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Well, one of my dream collabs just came true. Me and Colt Ford have two absolute bangers on the way.

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) I listen to everything, but right now it’s been a lot of Luke Combs and Brantley Gilbert. I am working on some cool stuff, and those two artists give off the vibe I am looking for.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Social media is awesome because it allows me and my fans to always be in communication with each other. My fans know that I am going to engage with them on socials and show them around my daily world. It’s important to me that they know they don’t just support me, I also support them.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) I love all y’all and y’all better buckle up cause we about to be on a wild ride!
