Isaac (Brandon Scott Jones), Nigel (John Hartman) and Pete (Richie Moriarty) are taking a walk around the property discussing about the couple’s upcoming honeymoon. Pete offers to book Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay’s (Utkarsh Ambudkar) room for them but then they’ll have to wake a few weeks until the couple leaves so they can use it. While they are talking about it, Pete suddenly gets frightened by a bee that is surrounding him and, in an attempt to shoo it away, he crosses what, until then, is considered the property boundaries for all of the ghosts. They realize that he has just discovered his “ghost power,” much to Isaac and Nigel’s surprise. The trio go back to the mansion to tell the news to Sam who is in the kitchen along with Alberta (Danielle Pinnock), Trevor (Asher Grodman), Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky) and Sas (Román Zaragoza). They are surprised that Pete had never attempted to leave the property and now are happy for him about the places he could go but the man does not appear to be as excited. He can only think about all the horrible things that might happen to him if he tries. The only person he would be interested in visiting in the outside world is his daughter and grandson but since they live far off the property, he is not so sure. Fortunately for him Sam has found out that they have gone on a vacation and are closer to him than he thinks. Right at that moment Jay walks in announcing that he’s going to the supermarket to buy some products and Sam gets him up to speed about the recent news. Jay feels excited for his ghost friend and everyone encourages Pete to go with Jay as a way to get rid of his fear of going out. After feeling practically cornered by everyone, he agrees.

In the meantime, Thor (Devan Chandler Long) and Flower (Sheila Carrasco) are spending as much time together as they can now the woman has finally returned. Hetty, Alberta and Trevor join them in the TV room and feel awkward at witnessing their interaction. Flower leaves for a moment and the Viking takes the opportunity to tell the others that he is concerned about something he has been hiding from her They believe he refers to having slept with Carol (Caroline Aaron), but he ends up confessing that he actually has been sleeping with Nancy (Betsy Sodaro), too. He doesn’t know how to tell Flower about it. Meanwhile, Alberta and Hetty advise him to confess what he did and Trevor recommends him to do the opposite. The ghosts get a little derailed from the conversation discussing Carol’s whereabouts since they haven’t seen her around recently. Apparently, she has been having some fun here and there with other ghosts.

Jay and Pete arrive at the warehouse club and the ghost is surprised at how much the world has changed ever since he was alive. Even though Jay cannot see him, he tries to explain everything about the place to Pete. Pete gets distracted in the razor blades aisle and loses sight of Jay. Then, he is intercepted by a couple ghosts, Gloria (Irene White) and Mike (Adrian Martinez), who died while trying to buy a TV at a Black Friday sale and were crushed by the crowd. Therefore, now they are stuck in there. They are surprise to see Pete knowing he doesn’t belong there and he explains about his new discovered super power. At that moment Pete realizes that Jay is nowhere to be seen so he goes in search of him. Later on, Jay returns to the house believing that Pete is there in the passenger seat with him except that he is not. Once he gets inside the mansion Sam lets him know that Pete is not there with him. Alberta, Isaac, Hetty and Sas start blaming each other for encouraging their friend to go out as they believe he is too soft for the actual world. Sam tries to calm everyone down and find a solution, so she asks her husband to retrace his steps in order to figure out where he might have left Pete. Unfortunately, Jay realizes that he went to a lot of places so Pete could practically be anywhere in the city. Therefore, the couple decide to go in search of him. Back at the supermarket, Pete is getting more nervous by the second realizing that Jay hasn’t yet returned for him. The lights go out and suddenly a group of angry ghosts show up demanding “fresh meat” and ready to fight him. Gloria explains that the store turns into a whole different world at night and now the only thing he can do is run. Pete gets out of there as soon as he can while being chased by the group of angry ghosts. Once he is out on the street, he finds everything to be so different from how he remembers it. Even the street names have changed! Suddenly, he sees a delivery robot going in his direction, something that is completely unfamiliar to him. Pete starts to run again thinking that he is trying to hunt him as well.

Thor tries to talk to Flower about his situation with Nancy but when the woman talks about how she respects that he had never given up on her and waited to see her again he gets terrified and decides to lie instead. Sometime after Thor meets with Nancy and asks her to keep their brief affair to themselves since he doesn’t want to hurt Flower. The basement ghost is hurt by his request but tries to disguise it and instead she agrees to his petition but with one condition – that he would repay the favor. Later that day Nancy makes use of her new power over Thor by making him choose her favorite TV show to watch and letting her take his seat on the couch much to everyone’s surprise.

At the mansion Sam and Jay return and sadly inform Hetty, Alberta and Sas that they didn’t find Pete. The man is terribly sorry about what happened and apologizes to them. Then, all of a sudden, Pete walks through the wall looking extremely mad and blaming them for convincing him to go out and confirming what he already knew, that the world is not a safe place. In an attempt to lure Pete into the kitchen and get him to talk, Jay cooks some smores. The smell entices Pete and once there he gets closer to him to smell the marshmallows and explains everything he went through. He shares how using his scouting and travel agent skills he managed to make it back. Sas makes him realize that maybe there is a good reason for him to have gained this power since while he worked as a travel agent, he never allowed himself to travel the world because he was always busy planning adventures for others. He mentions that Pete was also afraid of living by playing it safe all the time.

Thor meets with Flower and Nancy and finally takes the courage to tell his girlfriend the truth. At first, she is comprehensive of everything he says and understands that he must have felt very lonely without her there and even thanks Nancy for keeping him company but things change when the other woman confesses that Thor tried to make her keep their affair in secret and hurt her feelings in the process. It is then when Flower asks him for some time to think about whether or not she wants to continue with their relationship.

The next day, Jay takes Pete to the airport so he can go and visit his daughter and the ghost is excited for it. Meanwhile, things have taken a different turn for Thor now that Flower and Nancy have decided to join forces and propose that they become a throuple, something that the Viking unwillingly agrees to. The three share a hug and Thor takes the chance to confess that he has slept with Carol too and surprisingly Nancy confesses that so has she. Alberta and Trevor watch them in amusement, confident that this is just the start of a trainwreck.
