Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) I would describe my current sound as a blend of Alternative Hip-Hop/Emo Rap with elements of EDM and Dance Music.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Some of my musical influences include Kellin Quinn, Chief Keef, My Bloody Valentine, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Creed, 3 doors down, Skrillex, Xavier Wulf, 6lack, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lil Peep and more.

Q) Talk about the story behind your song “Until I’m Gone.”

A) Initially I had no idea exactly what to do with the beat, but I knew I really liked the sounds the producer chose to use. After a few takes I recorded a freestyle on the beat which ended up being the final vocals used. Once it was finished, I had thought about the idea of potentially getting Tracy on it, but I didn’t think it would actually happen. After a few calls were made, there I was with the collaboration track. After that I had Alixn remix the final master to make something a little bit more appealing to the average listener. Once that was all finished, we planned out the rollout, cover art and released the record.

Q) How did you come to connect with Lil Tracy for a feature on it?

A) Lil Tracy’s manager Nick Blanco and Cleopatra A&R Kyle Perera connected to make the feature happen.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) I think it is a collab my fans have wanted to happen for a while. The last two years people have been asking about a potential collab track so I think it’s part that as well as the lyrics/production…shoutout to the producers <3

Q) How does the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) I think the animated video just helps add some extra character to the release and allows the listeners to not only connect with the lyrics but have a memorable/unique video to attach to the song.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) I just punch/freestyle the lyrics in. I don’t really do much other than smoke some spliffs, light up a few candles if they’re around (ideally) and then go. I try not to think much about it

Q) How much of a hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I like to be as hands on as possible, but I personally love allowing others to shine on collab tracks we make.

Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?

A) 2 small collab EPs to end the year and then shhhhh!

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) London, Los Angeles, Phoenix – I just love the energy the fans bring in all of these cities but specifically my favorite is London.

Q) You’ve worked with Lil Yawh, Zak Hilton & (obviously) Lil Tracy. Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Kellin Quinn & Chief Keef

Q) What artist/musician are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) I am in an Ed Sheeran phase right now and idk why, but shoutout Ed Sheeran… [laughs]

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO LISTEN & SUPPORT IN WHATEVER WAY YOU CHOSE TO…IT MEANS THE WORLD <3
