The episode opens with Tunde (Barry Shabaka Henley) and Olu (Shola Adewusi) leaving church. Tunde is complaining about the food, which was cooked by the pastor’s daughter. He gives a fake compliment as Bob (Billy Gardell) and Dele (Travis Wolfe Jr) leave the church behind them.

Bob compares the service to Jesus teaching a spin class and talks to the pastor (Conphidance) about the situation with Abishola. He says that she belongs with her husband, which upsets Bob.

Abishola (Folake Olowofoyeku) comes out and Bob tells her that the pastor is Team Tayo. He argues he is Team God and God is Team Tayo. The three of them argue with Abishiola stalking off, saying the pastor is no longer in her nightly prayers. Bob says she is viscous.

Abishola and Bob go to buy a tablet for Dele. When they go to pay for it the cashier Kevin (Chris Aquilino) says that Abishola is on Tayo’s plan. This upsets Bob, so he offers to put her on his plan. She says they are not family. Kevin says they don’t need to be family to be on the plan together. Abishola says she will get her own plan and Bob is upset because he feels as if no one wants them together. Abishola claims she cares, but doesn’t need to make a scene.

Abishola Facetimes her mom (Saidah Arrika Ekulona) who says that she knows everything that is going on with Tayo and Bob. She warns her about her reputation, which is not yet ruined because of the lies she told about her. Abishola stands firm that she wants to marry Bob, even though her mom disapproves.

Dottie (Christine Ebersole), Christina (Maribeth Monroe) and Douglas (Matt Jones) talk to Kofo (Anthony Okungbowa) and Goodwin (Bayo Akinfemi) about how to get Bob and Abishola together and Tayo to agree to a divorce. Douglas says it could be legal or illegal. Christina suggests that they fake a pregnancy. Kofo and Goodwin don’t think this will work, so Dottie gets sassy with them.

Gloria (Vernee Watson) talks to Kemi (Gina Yashere) and Abishola that her son is in love with a woman. Abishola says he should not rush into marriage and Gloria wonders why she is in a mood. Kemi and Abishola fill her in about the Tayo debacle. As they discuss what to do, Kemi talks about her friend who sabotaged her cousin’s catering business. Gloria asks if her cousin has a catering business and she says not anymore.

Bob calls a lawyer to help get Tayo to divorce Abishola. They have lunch at a Nigerian place where they learn that Tayo also has a lawyer, who is an even better than Bob’s. Bob and Tayo (Dayo Ade) continue to argue over who would pay what to win Abishola. Bob gets angry and takes it too far.

At home Bob and Abishola talk about finding another lawyer, her family not allowing her into their homes in Nigeria and what their wedding would have been. He even picks out a song and they dance together while Tunde and Olu cry.

The family goes back to church with Bob asking if they have to go every week. When Abishola says yes, he makes jokes. They see Tayo talking to Dele and another family. Abishola calls Dele over and he confesses he was only pretending to understand what was being said.

As they head into church with Bob, Olu and Tunde give Tayo hell for how he is acting, calling him a baby and desperate. They make it clear he is not welcome there. As they head into church Tunde says Olu castrated with her words. She responds with snip snip.

The episode ends with Abishola getting a text from Tayo alluding that he wants a divorce. She and Bob discuss their future while Olu and Tunde watch in tears.
