This week’s episode opens with Tunde (Barry Shabaka Henley) working on the warehouse. Bob (Billy Gardell) walks in, surprised to see him there so early….but they are both happy it is delivery day. As they celebrate, Dottie (Christine Ebersole) joins them to celebrate, but she also wants to give her two cents on how to arrange things. Bob isn’t thrilled, but Tunde is willing to listen to her. However, Bob doesn’t care what she finds interesting (code for she hates it), he just wants it done his way.

At the hospital, Kemi (Gina Yashere) introduces her son Funmbi (Joshua Echebiri) to Abishola (Folake Olowofoyeku) and Gloria (Vernee Watson). She talks him up and tries to make herself seem more impressive, confusing the other ladies.

Later on, Abishola and Bob enjoy tea on their special bench. Neither one are in a hurry to go back to work, leading to Bob venting about Dottie taking over. Abishola tells him to go easy on her since she came so far since her stroke. He jokes that this is all her fault.

Goodwin (Bayo Akinfemi), Kofo (Anthony Okungbowa) and Doug (Matt Jones) are in a meeting when Bob walks in to once again vent about Dottie. They discover none of them want to work with her, no matter how much Bob begs.

At church, Kemi continues to brag about Funmbi, who tries to remain humble. He also doesn’t understand Bob’s jokes. Chuey (Tony Tambi) joins them and wants to greet Kemi, but she pushes him away since she doesn’t want Funmbi to know he is in a relationship. This leaves him hurt and confused.

The next day, Bob goes to the kitchen. Dele (Travis Wolfe Jr) offers him breakfast and ideas on how to get a grant. He says he will think about it. Dottie calls with more ideas, and he says he will think about it. The trend continues all day when Christina, Doug and Abishola continue to give their two cents on how to do things.

Back at the factory, Tunde is excited about unwrapping day, but Bob is not in the mood. He vents that everyone has ideas but nobody wants to help. Tunde offers to take him to his Christian Men’s Group, but Bob doesn’t want to go, leading to a fight….which Tunde wins.

Kemi calls Funmbi and promises she is making a vegan goat head meal. Abishola is concerned that she is changing herself for her son and wants her to show him her true self. Kemi gets upset and tells her to mind her own business.

Bob shows up to the the Christian Men’s Group, which is really the guys from church, including the pastor, drinking beer and watching sports. Bob is happy about this and goes to talk to Chuey, who is upset about Kemi. They have a heart to heart and decide to take back their power.

At the hospital, the ladies are eating the vegan goat dish (with chicken stock!) when Chuey comes to talk to Kemi. He wants to meet Funmbi and says that she needs to tell him they are together or it is over. She explains that this is the first time her son came him in fifteen years and things have been bad since her husband died. He even stopped speaking to her when she went on a date with another man. Chuey is upset, but understands.

Back at the warehouse, Bob shows everything off to the family and makes it clear that he is the one running the show. They all reluctantly agree before he kicks them out.

Olu (Shola Adewusi) and Tunde try to impress Funmbi, who seems bored. Kemi finally introduces Chuey to Funmbi, who gets angry. She tells him that she is going to live her life as a vibrant, fun woman. She goes into church with Chuey as Funmbi tries to storm off. Abishola and Bob tell him to go into church and respect his mom as the episode comes to a close.
