Q) How would you best describe your sound?

A) Romantic, sexistential, ultrasensual

Q) Who are your Top 3 musical influences?

A) Connan Mockasin, Richard Hawley, Marvin Gaye

Q) Tell us the story behind your latest single “I Belong to You.”

A) All quite self-explanatory I guess…It’s a message of vulnerability. No frills!

Q) Since its release, what has been the overall reaction to “I Belong to You” from fans and listeners?

A) The reaction has been very pleasant; I think the people dig it…Some wish it was longer, but you can’t force that kinda thing.

Q) What message do you hope fans take away from the new single?

A) That idea of vulnerability, and how it can be important, or even freeing

Q) “I Belong to You” as well as “Natty Wine,” “Flicker On!” and “Long Distance” are all part of your upcoming albumIn the Midst Of You, which is coming out in January 2024. What are some themes you’ll be exploring on it?

A) It’s a very romantic record, so that’s the main theme. Falling in love, into the midst of somebody

Q) I really do love “Long Distance,” especially with its funky groove. What song was your favorite to write and record for In the Midst Of You?

A) Thanks! That was definitely one of my favorites as it came together quite naturally. “Natty Wine” was fun, too. The songs “My New Heaven” and the title track also felt good to make during the process.

Q) You have upcoming dates in the UK slated for 2024. Are there any plans to tour Europe and/or potentially the US to promote the new album?

A) Yes, definitely! We’ve actually just announced some EU dates, and we’re planning the US tour right now. It’s gonna be a very fun year, I hope.

Q) Which song is your favorite to perform live?

A) My old song “OTD” has always been a fav, as it’s super laid back and quiet, and it’s always nice when the crowd just relax into it with us. I think “Natty Wine” will become a favorite, too as we get to play it more at these upcoming shows.

Q) Who would you love to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Ice Spice

Q) What would you like to say to your fans and supporters of your music?

A) Thank you, I appreciate you more than words can say, and remember I love you because you’re me.
