Q) What are the recent projects you are working on?

A) I’m looking for more locations to expand my salon. I have one in Carrollton, TX Midway Salon Suites. I’m also starting up an online boutique line coming end of summer.

Q) What is new this season on “Basketball Wives LA?”

A) Drama, drama, and more drama. LOL! This season I go deep and talk about my relationship. Like all couples, there are ups and downs. This past year was pretty tough for us. You will see a major change in the group as well. This season will for sure shock the fans.

Q) You were friends with Malaysia [Pargo] before coming on the show, but were you at all familiar with the other women?

A) Yes we were friends way before there was even a basketball show. I met one other through Malaysia before.

Q) Was there any aspect of your life or day-to-day that you deemed off limits to the camera?

A) I’m pretty open because I want to help others. But I can say my husband [Jason Maxiell] and I didn’t discuss in detail every single thing that happened to us.

Q) What were you excited for fans to learn about you that they were not aware of before the show?

A) I’m not perfect nor am I trying to be. All the glitz and glam is cool and my lifestyle is cool, but I go through and deal with the same problems everyone else does.

Q) You are a part of social media. What has it been like receiving the instant fan feedback when the show airs?

A) So far the fans of the show love me because I’m real, open and don’t take crap from anyone. I came on the show to help other women and be relatable, not fake like everything is perfect.

Q) What were some of your most memorable moments from filming “Basketball Wives LA?”

A) Being able to share it with my best friend Malaysia and go through this tough journey of our life together. She’s a blessing.

Q) What do you think it is about the show that has made it a fast fan favorite?

A) I would say the drama (LOL!) and plus we don’t hold anything back. ESPECIALLY this season.

Q) You are an ovarian cancer survivor. What do you want to be sure fans know about detection?

A) Get tested for any and everything. Even if you think it’s minor or silly, just go. Never ignore your body and never let anyone tell you something is nothing when you truly feel something is wrong. One day of delay could cost you your life.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you?

A) Thank you guys for excepting and supporting me. Please continue to support and be by my side. If I upset any of my fans at any moment, trust and believe I’m sorry and understand what I do is not easy. We all have our ups and downs. I promise to continue to be the woman that you all fell in love with.
