Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) Country with some pop and rock influences!

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Rascal Flatts, Boyz II Men, Bruno Mars, Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs

Q) “West Tennessee” has already been a huge hit. Did you expect to get such a huge response from it right away?

A) Not at all! But I’m glad I didn’t know what the response was going to be. I just put it out and hoped somebody would connect with it!

Q) What was the inspiration behind it, besides it being where you grew up?

A) West Tennessee is a special place to me, and I wanted to show my appreciation for my home and what it meant to me.

Q) What made you decide to use it as your debut country song?

A) What better for a debut song than one that shows everyone where I came from.

Q) What is your typical songwriting process? Do you need music before you can create the lyrics?

A) I just let it flow and the music comes out! I usually write on my piano by messing around with melodies. Sometimes I’ll be doing something, and a melody will hit me.

Q) What was the biggest challenge about writing the song?

A) Making sure the whole story connected with people that didn’t live in West TN, as much as the people who did!

Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?

A) Yes! My first EP is coming out this fall and I can’t wait!

Q) You mentioned growing up with several kinds of music, including country, R&B and pop. Who would you love to do a crossover song within the future?

A) Bruno Mars or Drake would be incredible!

Q) You went on tour while in college to play keys. Is this something we can expect to hear in future music that you release?

A) Playing keys is my first love! I write most of my songs on piano so it’s definitely something you’ll hear!

Q) What would you like to say to your fans and supporters?

A) Thank you so much for all the support. I can’t wait to put out more music for ya’ll and get to meet you out at shows soon!
