This week’s episode opens with Kat (Mayim Bialik), Max (Cheyenne Jackson)and Randi (Kyla Pratt) packing up the apartment while Carter (Julian Gant) and Darren (Jay Linzy) goof off. Max is moving in with Kat and Carter and Randi are moving in together. Kat wants to look back on memories, which include Randi and Carter having sex in each room of the apartment, including Max’s room. He says it is not cool, but then admits it kind of is.

They all hug and talk about the Super Bowl party Kat is hosting, which includes Cat-y Perry performing. They go to leave, but realize they need to get the rest of Max’s stuff.

The next day Max and Kat kiss good morning, but realize they have very different hygiene ideas….and different ways to organize. It causes a bit of tension for the couple. Kat tells him to put things where he wants, but it only causes her to cringe.

Carter plans a Nerf Ball attack on Randi, only to realize she isn’t there. She comes back with pizza and attack of her own. They enjoy their time together, but they have tension of their own when it comes to her giving him money for the mortgage. She realizes she owes more money than she thought and gets worried. Darren then comes in with his  own fake pizza and attack.

The following day Randi is being overly nice to customers which makes Sheila thinks she is dying. She also tells Randi a woman should never pay her own rent and then says they should never do things Kat does, including open her own cat cafe or cut her hair. Randi wants a raise, but Kat can only offer her a rais-in muffin.

Randi asks about Kat and Max living together and lies about it being great. Sheila says Max is suffering too, which leads to her and Kat talking about the bad memories from Kat going to summer camp.

Later on Kat is getting Cat-y Perry ready for the party when Max comes home with a new TV. She is upset about this and thinks he should have talked to her first. The two of them get into an argument over things in the apartment and he storms off.

Randi is still trying to sell things to make more money and admits that she took on a second job. Kat thinks she should be honest with Carter, but Randi thinks she can handle things.

Carter comes in with booze for the party and Kat says it will be perfect with her menu, all of which have football puns. Carter tells them that they should eat beforehand, but Randi says she isn’t going to the party due to lady issues.

Max and Kat try to assemble the entertainment center, but get into yet another fight. They finally get things done, complete with a trip to urgent care. However, the whole thing collapses thanks to Max not using the washers.

At the party Kat thanks everyone for coming and gets into another fight with Max. She also makes a game for every time Sheila (Swoosie Kurtz) insults her.

Max tries to raise the volume and realizes that he took the wrong remote to Goodwill. They keep fighting and Sheila continues to insult Kat.

Kat tries to get the Cat-y Perry show to start, but it doesn’t work. She goes outside to think and has a heart to heart with Sheila.

Carter finds out Randi is driving Uber and they talk about their finances. They come up with the idea to pay rent on s sliding scale, thanks to the driver Joel (Chad Jamion), who wants to tell his mom he is dating Randi, leading to his ride getting canceled.

Max and Kat have a heart to heart and agree to work on things together as the episode comes to a close.
