Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) Smoked out Pop R&B.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Charlie Puth, Bazzi, Ariana Grande and Fletcher.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “I Thought You Were Lonely.”

A) It’s definitely conversational. It’s about feeling screwed over after trying to see the best in someone, which clearly didn’t work out.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans will connect to?

A) The story behind it is emotional, but it’s fun to listen to. They’ve been loving the teasers so I’m really excited for them hear the full version

Q) You worked with Amber Park and Emma Sydney Menzies for the video to the track. How will the video play into the message behind it?

A) Emma Sydney Menzies directed the video and Amber Park was the creative director. It was amazing to work with them both on this, they are both so talented in their own ways and it was a great time. The video definitely has a story to it, but it’s also just vibes. I think that reflects the song perfectly, too.

Q) On your forthcoming project, you got to work with writers Delacey, ROLLO and Ryan Ogren. What did it mean to you to create with these powerhouses?

A) It’s always so much fun working with each of them. I’m thrilled to have them on this with me.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) Every song is written differently, but I typically start with music and then we build from there, playing with melodies and then piecing it all together with lyrics.

Q) How much of hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I’m definitely very involved. I’m not very technical when it comes to producing music, but I know exactly what I want. It’s great to find producers that work and vibe well so that we’re on the same vibe.

Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?

A) I’m hoping to have an EP out later this year!

Q) With concerts currently on hold, do you have plans for some upcoming live streaming events to promote your new music?

A) Yes! I’m gearing up to do some live virtual performances, so stay tuned!

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) I’m really loving Madison Beer’s “Life Support” right now.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Especially in these times where I can’t go out and meet the fans in person, social media is the best way to stay connected. I do my best.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) This is just the beginning. I am so beyond grateful for every single person that listens to the music- it means the world.
