Q) Was there anything you have added over the years to your character that was not initially for them on the page?

A) I added some layers of history and depth to the character, as most actors do; some of her struggles, family issues, and dark past. The creator Gregori J Martin has told me some of the ideas he has in store for my character. I’m very excited to see them play out!

Q) What continues to challenge you about the character you portray?

A) Often, I feel I could have done something more dynamic in a scene, but that’s part of the art. Trust what’s been done and that it’ll turn out good!

Q) What episodes were the most memorable for you to film or maybe challenged you the most?

A) I really liked Season 7 in Puerto Rico. It was some of the characters’ more challenging stuff. I definitely enjoyed pushing myself and acting out the part!

Q) What would you like to see for your character in future seasons?

A) I would love to dive into some of her dark past. The audience doesn’t know who Tamara’s mother is, so I’m looking forward to that storyline – how Tamara came to be, and why she is half siblings, not full, with Avery (Alicia Leigh Willis) and Daniel (Eric Nelsen).

Q) Who would you love to share more scenes with in the future on the show?

A) It’s great having new scene partners! Every actor brings something different to a scene, and I feel like I learn something from them each time.

Q) What do you think it is about “The Bay” that continues to make it such a fan favorite show?

A) Oh, the storylines, cinematography, acting, directing, producing…Gosh, the list goes on. So much hard work and love goes into the show. It’s wonderful how far it’s come over the years.

Q) What are the other upcoming projects that you have been busy working on?

A) We’ll see! [laughs] [winks]

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who are fans and supporters of the work you’ve done on this special series?

A) Thank you all SO much for all the love and support! We appreciate every single one of you! You all keep the flame alive and make the hard work worthwhile. [smiles]
