Q) What made you want to be a part of “Below Deck Mediterranean?”

A) I was looking for a challenge, something that would push me to step up. Having to do my job was one thing, but then on top having a completely new crew, new boat and picking up charter immediately certainly did that, plus not to mention a camera crew following you around 24/7.

Q) Had you been a fan of the show or familiar with it before joining the cast this year?

A) If I’m honest, I had never watched the show prior to walking on and I heard about it because it’s quite well-known within the industry. I knew of Hannah [Ferrier] and she was the person I thought I’d clash with. How wrong was I!

Q) Were there certain parts of your life you deemed off limits to the camera?

A) I must admit, I feel I gave and told everything. I wanted it to be truthful and be myself.

Q) We saw you seem to have some chemistry with Hannah. Do you feel the close quarters heightened your feelings?

A) Of course, how couldn’t it? Living and working with someone you’re dating so closely things are bound to happen quickly. For instance, say you go on a date in the evening, your next date is breakfast the next morning! Needless to say, it’s even worse when you argue!

Q) You are the bosun, but we saw Joao [Franco] seem to want to take the upper hand. What is the difference in the experiences on boats you each have had that made you think you had a greater handle on the job?

A) It’s purely based of experience and having the confidence to say something and believe in what you are saying. Plus, something I learnt very early on as a manager to lead by example, you should be doing a job harder, better and faster than anyone below. They should always have someone to look up to, to try and be better.

Q) What were some of your most memorable moments from filming “Below Deck Med?”

A) The whole experience if I’m honest! I couldn’t pick out just one bit; however, I can’t say too much yet but I’m sure you’ll see my most memorable bit soon. [wink]

Q) Who have you stayed in contact with and become friendly with from the show?

A) I have stayed in contact with mostly everyone on the show!

Q) You are a part of social media. Have you been enjoying the instant fan feedback you have been receiving to episodes?

A) I was genuinely over the moon with the feedback I’ve gotten from the show. I never went on the show for the “fame” I purely went on it for challenge. I was so worried how I would look, come across or even whether people would like or hate me. So far, I’ve been so happy with the response. I just hope it stays that way!

Q) What is something that you want to be sure viewers know about you or that you’d like to clarify?

A) At this moment in time, no!

Q) What do you want to be sure fans know about you and your time on “Below Deck Mediterranaean?”

A) I was always true, honest and myself.
