Last episode big bad Astra (Olivia Swann) decided to turn the clocks on Constantine’s (Matt Ryan) life, bringing it to an end in a matter of minutes. Gary (Adam Tsekhman) and Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) bring him to the Waverider. Ray (Brandon Routh) rushes into the medbay where he has Gideon (Amy Louise Pemberton) run a scan to see why he is suddenly coughing up blood. Nate (Nick Zano) and Ava (Jes Macallan) come in and Gideon says that Constantine has a terminal case of lung cancer.

Constantine figures there’s no point in quitting and lights up a cigarette. Ava quickly yanks the cigarette out of his mouth and Gideon gives him a sedative to knock him out. Charlie sneaks out while the others look at Constantine and tells Gideon to prepare the jumpship. A woman calls to her from nowhere saying that Charlie can’t escape “them.” As she freaks out and runs for the jumpship, she bumps into Behrad (Shayan Sobhian) who questions where she’s been. Zari (Tala Ashe) comes up and Behrad introduces Charlie to the “new” Zari. Ava calls everyone to the bridge for a team meeting and Charlie tells Behrad that she’s coming.

On the bridge Ava tells Charlie that they need her because they’re short-staffed. Mick (Dominic Purcell) is still with Ali and Sara (Caity Lotz) is in Star City. Ava tells the Legends that they’re going to continue tidying up the timeline and that her and Gideon have created a new program to help them stop the Encores before they cause disruption. It’s called “The Prognosticator.” None of the Legends are impressed by Ava’s creation as she shows them that there’s a mysterious gangster moving into the Triad’s territory in Hong Kong in the 90s. Nate runs off and asks if he can bring his scooter, riding back in with it calling it “Scoots McGoots” which everyone is impressed by more…except Ava.

The Waverider arrives in Hong Kong in 1997. Charlie and Ava go to a tea shop where the gangster has been spotted. Ava explains that the tea shop is a Triad base and Nate and Behrad patrol the perimeter. On Waverider Zari does some research and confirms it’s the year Britain hands over Hong Kong to China. Constantine leaves the medbay against Gideon’s advice and Gary asks Ray to help stop him. They catch up to Constantine, who figures that somebody with a “sneaky git” is bending the rules of magic and he’s taking the jumpship home. Ray refuses to let Constantine go. Constantine stares him down. Ray backs down but insists on going with him.

Nate spots a motorcycle pulling up to the tea shop. The cloaked rider removes his helmet and Nate realizes that he’s Genghis Khan (Terry Chen). Khan takes a briefcase in with him and Nate warns the others about the Encore. Khan enters the shop and Nate figures that Khan revolutionized horseback warfare and he’s doing the same with a motorcycle.

Khan shows the Triad leader their drugs and Khan tells him that if they surrender the Triad then he’ll conquer the globe. Behrad suggests that they retreat, but Charlie takes the sedative that Gideon gave to Constantine and tells Behrad that she needs a distraction. The Triad bodyguard spot Behrad and opens fire. Ava takes cover and three women draw guns and announce that they’re cops. Gunfire breaks out and Charlie thanks Behrad for the distraction. Khan grabs the Triad leader and hauls him out while Charlie goes after Khan with Behrad following.

One of the cops goes down and Ava grabs her guns and opens fire. Behrad follows Khan into a storeroom and Khan attacks him. Charlie arrives and tries to drug Khan, but he grabs her arm and aims a gun at him. Behrad grabs one of Khan’s guns and aims it at Khan, resulting in a three-way standoff. Behrad and Khan both pull their triggers at the same time, but they’re both out of bullets. Khan says that they’re lucky and leaves.

One of the remaining cops joins forces with Ava and they continue firing until they run out of bullets. As the Triad hit men prepare to shoot them, Nate comes in on his scooter in steel form and takes them out.

Constantine, Ray and Gary go to back to Constantine’s house. Constantine has Gary gather spell components. He has Ray pull up the rug, revealing a pentagram, and says that he’s going to summon the demon that accelerated his lung cancer. Gary returns with the potion as Constantine mixes it with the components. He drops it, falls into the circle and materializes in a room in Purgatory.

Writing appears on his arm and Astra laughs from the shadows. She steps out, holds up Constantine’s chip and says that Constantine is bad for business. He warns her that the person who used the magic is trying to trap Astra. Astra doesn’t recognize the room. Constantine says that her mother Natalie brought her there. He offers to change Natalie’s fate, so she never died, and Astra never goes to Hell. Astra admits that the offer is tempting, but points out that everyone Constantine helps gets hurt. Constantine says that he knows someone with a powerful artifact, but Astra doesn’t believe him

Back in the house Ray and Gary revive Constantine. He tells them that Astra has his chip and has sped up his lung cancer.

The Legends return to Waverider. Behrad figures that he can’t use the totem to stop bullets. Gideon tracks Khan’s license plate and Ava wants Charlie to infiltrate the Triad as she can shapeshift. Charlie and Behrad go off while Nate and Zari tell Ava that they’re hostile to each other because they had sex.

In Hong Kong we see Khan and his gang stop at a junkyard and one of the men hears something and goes to investigate. Behrad knocks him out with an air blast while Charlie, Nate and Behrad check him out. Charlie takes the man form and goes to join Khan and the rest of his gang.

In a nearby warehouse Khan prepares to question the surviving cop, Hoyan (Megan Hui). Charlie sneaks in and radios Ava to tell her what’s happening. Meanwhile, Khan finds Hoyan’s wallet with a photo of her child and says that he’ll spare her if Hoyan gives him what she wants.

In response to Ray’s summons, Nora (Courtney Ford) arrives at the House with a little girl, Pippa (Madeline Hirvonen). Nora asks her newest “client” to wish Constantine well and Pippa agrees as long as Nora grants her other wish. Gary tries to intimidate Pippa without success and Constantine tells Pippa to make the wish or he’ll die and come back to haunt her. Scaring Pippa with that threat, she wishes Constantine wasn’t sick. Fairy Godmother Nora waves her magic wand, but it doesn’t work. Pippa wishes she was home and Nora takes her home after saying goodbye to Ray.

Nate and Behrad wait in the car for Charlie. Behrad tells Nate that he and Charlie linked up after Heyworld. Nate warns Charlie is affecting Behrad and Behrad says that Charlie left without saying goodbye. The tied-up thug in the back suggests it wasn’t about Behrad and Nate agrees. Nate assures Behrad that he’s a catch and suggests that Behrad ask Charlie straight up about them as a couple. Behrad thanks him for the advice and Nate realizes their prisoner escaped.

Hoyan gives Khan the travel route of Prince Charles through Hong Kong. Zari figures that Khan wants Charles to give him Hong Kong. Khan draws a sword and explains that it took him 700 years to dig him out of his tomb. He kills Hoyan with his enchanted Hell weapon and Charlie tells Ava what happened. Ava orders her out, but Khan orders her to stop. He asks about the status of his fleet. Charlie plays along and says that she’s going to check on it, but runs into the real thug and engineer. He screams and yells that it’s a ghost. He then runs off. As Charlie walks off, the woman’s voice can be heard again whispering that Charlie can’t hide from them. A truck almost hits Charlie, but Behrad tackles her out of the way at the last moment. She shoves him off and walks away.

At the House we see Gary and Ray bring in the Puca to heal Constantine, but she can’t. Constantine tells Ray that only magic can affect his disease and finds a spell to cure him. He says that he’ll need a medieval knight and Ray notes that he was once knighted. Constantine asks Gary for a knife, but he refuses. He wonders if there isn’t a cure and asks Constantine if he has a bucket list. Constantine figures that bucket lists are for saps and insists that he can take care of himself. He says that he’ll scheme to keep himself alive and deals the Archangel Gabriel to come and make a deal with him. Gabriel doesn’t show up. Constantine tells Gary and Ray to leave.

Charlie returns to the Waverider and looks for a time courier. Behrad is waiting for her and figures that something has her spooked. He admits that he liked her and was hurt when she left and asks Charlie to be honest with him. Charlie tells him that they had sex and it was mediocre. Behrad ignores that and says that they need her to fight Khan. Charlie asks him for the courier and he hands it over.

Behrad tells the Legends that Charlie left and Nate suggests that they focus on the mission at hand. Ava figures a shipment is coming in and will use his fleet. So, Nate goes to the docks to try to figure out what the fleet is and Behrad goes on his own to check the area.

The bulldog head on Constantine’s cane tells him that there are worse things than death. The bulldog (Robin Atkin Downes) says that he could be with two of the only friends he has left and Constantine concedes the point. Gary and Ray return and make dinner in the kitchen while crying Gary says that he wants Constantine to be at peace. Constantine comes in and says that he might owe them an apology. Gary immediately accepts and hugs Constantine and sits down to eat with them.

Nate finds crates and discovers scooter parts inside of them. Behrad turns to see Khan emerge from the mists on a scooter. His men pull up behind him and Khan yells “Charge!” Behrad warns Ava that Khan’s men are heading for the motorcade and they open fire on Prince Charles’ guards. Behrad knocks one soldier off his scooter, takes it and goes to rescues Charles. Nate can’t get there in time and tells Behrad that he’s got it.

The soldiers corner Charles motorcade in a parking garage, kill his guards and capture Behrad. As the soldiers drag Behrad over to Charles, “Charles” (Chris Robson) reveals that he’s a shapeshifted Charlie. She changes into the appearance of Khan and tells the soldiers to capture Khan as an impostor. Khan takes Behrad hostage and forces Charlie to take on her female form. He asks where Prince Charles is, and Charlie says that he’s someone he’ll never find him. (Charles is in fact hanging out with returned Mick on Waverider.)

Khan tells Charlie that she’ll be his 13th wife and if she joins him they’ll build an empire that spans a globe. Charlie says that her past is complicated and a relationship wouldn’t work for either of them. Khan realizes that Charlie and Behrad slept together and tells his soldiers to kill her. As they prepare to shoot, Behrad knocks out his guard, dives in the way and uses the totem to block the bullets. Charlie punches Khan takes his sword and kills him with it. She then tells the soldiers to leave before Behrad sends their bullets at them. They run off and Behrad and Charlie hug.

Later on the Waverider, Behrad asks Charlie to tell them what was really going on. She finally tells the Legends that she is one of the three Greek Fates: Clotho the Spinner. Charlie used to spin people’s futures on her Loom, but she destroyed it thousands of years ago. She refuses to show them her original form and explains that her sisters have been coming after them ever since she destroyed the Loom and scattered the pieces across the Multiverse. Now that there’s only one Earth-Prime, the pieces are all in one plane and eventually her sisters will find her. When they do, they’ll kill Charlie and anyone she’s with.

Charlies starts to leave, but Behrad tells her to stop running and they have her back. The other Legends agree, saying that they can handle two old ladies. Sara returns, stumbling over all of the scooters, and asks what she missed. Everyone starts to explain at once, leaving Sara wishing she never asked.

At the house Ray, Gary, and Constantine are all drinking wine together. Gary breaks into tears and says that he’ll miss Constantine. Constantine asks Ray to read his will. Constantine is giving the house to Gary and Gary breaks into tears. He promises to take great care of it. Constantine asks Ray what he has on his bucket list. Ray says that eventually he planned on asking Nora to marry him. When Constantine wonders why he’s waiting, Ray says he’s been engaged twice before and they didn’t end like he hoped. Constantine tells him not to dillydally and he knows about having regrets.

Constantine proposes a toast to dying at home with his mates and Ray and Gary join in. He says he wishes he had more time with them and explains that the whiskey he drank was poisoned. Constantine says that he always goes out on his own terms and dies, ending up in purgatory with Astra. The wording on his arm counts down and Constantine says that he used the same poison that Natalie used to kill herself. He tells Astra that Natalie never gave up on her and starts singing “Scarborough Fair.” Astra tells him to stop, but he keeps singing. Furious, Astra says that it was their song and Constantine tells her that Natalie sung it to him first.

Suddenly, overwhelmed with emotion, Astra asks Constantine if he can really bring Natalie back. He tells her that he can fix everything and Astra rewinds the cog pieces and reverses the cancer. Astra says that she can kill him anytime she wants so he’d better hurry and sends him back to his body.

Being back in his own body in his house he tells Gary and Ray that Astra reconsidered and hugs Ray in relief. Constantine finally kisses Gary and then says that he can’t believe he was going to the leave the House to him. As Constantine burns the will, he tells them that he made a promise he intends to keep and says that he needs to see a lady about a Loom.
