After escaping their TV Shows the Legends split up and to look for the Loom. Zari (Tala Ashe) point out that they shouldn’t destroy the Loom until they find the Waverider first. A group of Fate workers come up and recognize Zari 1.0 from “Ultimate Buds” and ask her for an autograph. Constantine (Matt Ryan) tells them to hand over their clothing in exchange for an autograph.

Mona (Ramona Young) and Gary (Adam Tsekhman) find one Legends team: Mick (Dominic Purcell), Zari 2.0 (Tala Ashe), Ava (Jes Macallan), and Nate (Nick Zano). The pair start asking if they’re really part of the Legends team and ramble on before Ava asks where the Waverider could be kept. Mona suggests that the Waverider is in the Forbidden Dump where they dump forbidden historical items. The Legends sneak into the dump in a garbage truck and Mick uses the remote to click the door for the cloaked time ship.

The other team of Legends sneak into the Loom building and knock out the guards. In the main chamber room a worker pleads with the three Fates for more blue mush. They agree to weave it into the fabric of Time that afternoon and another worker asks for their TV shows back. Lachesis (Sarah Strange) looks at Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), who says the shows will be back later they’re just tired. The workers wearing the Legends’ discarded clothing are in line and Atropos (Joanna Vanderham) realizes that the real Legends must be nearby. Atropos goes over to find them. When Charlie starts to leave Lachesis grabs her arm and tells her that it’s time to grow up and face the music. Charlie insists that the Legends are her friends and Lachesis says that they just spread chaos in the world. When Charlie points out that the Encores weren’t the Legends’ fault, Lachesis says that they’re Charlie’s fault and ambitious villains are the product of the chaos Charlie birthed. The Fate points out that there are no potential villains among the workers and she asks what the mortals would want: more choices or a lifetime of peace. Charlie figures that they would want peace and goes back on her throne and Lachesis congratulates her on her choice.

Sara (Caity Lotz) and the others find the Loom and although she can’t physically see it, she can sense it. She tells Astra (Olivia Swann) and Constantine to destroy it. Sara calls the other Legends who are continuing their search for the Waverider in the dump. Mick finally finds the timeship buried beneath a pile of rubble and the team go inside. Mick goes to find Lita (Mina Sundwall) while the others work on getting the ship up and running.

Constantine warns Astra that they need lots of magic to destroy the Loom. He figures that Astra can use her powers as a magical conduit from Natalie and prepares to focus his magic through her. Constantine tells Astra to let Natalie’s (Alice Hunter) power flow through her. Astra does so and Constantine has her harness her connection. The woman does so, remembering Natalie singing to her as a child and the threads of the Loom enter her grasp. The Loom starts to shut down.

The Legends discover that the Fates have dismantled Gideon and Zari 1.0 says that they need a surge of power for the time cord. Nate steels up and acts a conductor. Ava flies the Waverider into the air.

Elsewhere, Behrad (Shayan Sobhian) and his Zari 2.0 go to the throne room and tell Sara that Atropos isn’t there. Atropos grabs Sara, who has a future vision of Atropos killing her with one of her thrown bone daggers. She attacks the Fate and Sara catches the bone dagger as Atropos throws it at her.

The Loom is just about to lose all its power when Astra starts seeing Lachesis in her vision. Lachesis tells her that Natalie is gone. She says Astra has to forget Natalie or she’ll never be the powerful entity she was meant to be. Astra’s magic stops and the Loom restores itself.

Atropos knocks Sara to the ground and tells her that her power come from her and pulls the power of the Loom from Sara. Sara says that her power comes from herself and tells Constantine to open the door. He does so as Behrad and Zari come in and air-blast Atropos into the Loom. Sara shoves Atropos into the Loom, pulling out her thread. Atropos screams in pain as Lachesis and Charlie sense Atropos’ death.

The Legends run out as Ava picks them up. She jumps the ship and then it plummets out of the air crashing back into the dump. Sara can see and realizes that her powers are gone. Constantine tells her that her powers came from Atropos and now that she’s dead her powers are gone. The Legends go out and find that the world is back to normal. A newspaper date shows that they jumped a few months into the future. They notice pedestrians checking their wristwatch calling it Fate and there are posters of Lachesis and Charlie around. Sara realizes that the two Fates restored the Loom and made it portable.

The Legends break into what was the temple of the Loom and find it is now a History Museum. There are brochures about the horrors of free choice and they go to the Hall of Bad Ideas. Among the exhibits are Glitter and the Thong Song. They go to the Hall of Villains while Behrad and Zari 1.0 try to bring Gideon back up. Behrad has a vision of guards shooting him when he tries to help Zari 1.0 escape. He tells her what he saw and Zari 1.0 notes that in her timeline Behrad died the way he saw. Since then, everything she’s done has been to save him.

Mick, Mona, Gary and Lita drop into the ship. Mick is furious that the Legends left him behind. Lita tries to calm him down and Zari 2.0 states that they should ask Zari 1.0 why they left him behind. Mona explains that when the Loom was broken everyone’s memories came flooding back and that’s how Gary and Mona found Lita and Mick.

The Legends are in the Hall of Villains where there are exhibits of Vlad the Impaler, Stalin and Marie Antoinette (Courtney Ford). They’re ranked and the number one villain isn’t there. The Legends find an exhibit of Villain #2. It is statues of themselves, “The Godkillers.” Charlie is imprisoned and ranked as Villain #1. She tells them that they have to get out and checks her FateWatch. It says that she has to stay. Constantine knocks her out with a spell and they take her to the Waverider.

Charlie tells them that they shouldn’t have destroyed the Loom and since she’s the Loom Breaker and the creator of chaos the Encores were re-released. Ava figures that since they left Lachesis was free to influence Charlie. Sara assures Charlie that they’re her family. Charlie explains that Lachesis rebuilt the Loom and restored the peace.

Astra goes to the study to drink and Constantine approaches her. She admits that she summoned her mother in Hell and the price for Lachesis’ protection was her humanity. Constantine points out that she was just a kid trying to survive, but Astra says that she wanted to forget. He tells her that she’s still her daughter and Astra wonders if she’s Natalie’s daughter or Lachesis’.

On the bridge Nate gives Charlie a demonstration of the benefits of freewill. Charlie isn’t convinced despite ABBA and the Beatles. Ava and Sara point out that the Legends came together because of chaos. She says that sometimes Destiny is just a mistake.

Zari 1.0 tries to hack Charlie’s FateWatch and needs an independent Wi-Fi. So, she takes apart Zari 2.0’s phone. They trace the Loom signal to a building and head over to it.

Zari and Constantine go together to search another floor while Zari 1.0 and Behrad are waiting on the floor below. Zari 2.0 grabs Constantine and kisses him. He kisses her back. Zari 1.0 and Behrad hear them on the radio. Zari 1.0 finds a room with no walls or rooms and goes there with Constantine and Zari 2.0 joining them. Gideon is there and they realize that there is no Loom and Lachesis is using Gideon instead. Ava suggests they shut down the system. Charlie figures Lachesis was right and they want to cause panic by shutting down Gideon.

Astra comes in and says Lachesis will come up with another way. Ava figures that they need to take Lachesis down a notch and Sara asks Charlie to help them because Lachesis is her sister. Charlie tells her that she can’t help them and walks out.

The next morning at the History Museum Lachesis gives a tour sharing about how the world was filled with pain and hate. She talks about how she rebuilt the Loom and imprisoned Charlie so that the people could live in peace. She brings a light up on the Loom Breaker and asks if she accepts her fate. The figure reveals that she’s Astra who says that she doesn’t accept her fate. Lachesis asks where Charlie is and Astra wonders if Lachesis ever loved her or was just looking for a replacement for Charlie.

When Lachesis tells Astra that she wanted a mother Astra states that she had a mother who understood that to love someone they had to set her free. When Astra invites Lachesis to smite her, Lachesis does nothing. She asks why the people should believe Astra and Sara and the other Legends reveal that they’ve replace their dummies in the display.

Lachesis points out that the Legends are some of history’s most notorious criminals and the tour group all chant “shame.” Sara admits that they made mistakes but sometimes things get messed up for the better. Ava points out that Marie Antoinette’s indifference led to a democratic revolution in France. Lachesis tells them to listen to the Loom and the people check their watches.

Lachesis says that they will have chaos, blows on her coins and animates the exhibits of the villains which are actually the real Encores. The people panic and Lachesis walks off as the dummies come at them. Sara figures that if they get out they’ll destroy the city. The Legends grab displays from the Hall of Bad Ideas and fight the dummies.Nate turns on “The Thong Song.” The two sides fight, but the Legends can’t kill the Encores permanently without Hell weapons.

Lita finds Charlie and tells her to get over herself and says that she was the one born of chaos. But she eventually got her father and life being messy is what makes it beautiful. Charlie takes Lita to the History Museum, giving the Legends the Hell Weapons, and they kill the Encores for good. Sara assures Charlie that she’s wild and unpredictable, just like they like her. Charlie then goes with a Hell weapon to confront her sister once and for all.

Lachesis goes to the Loom Room and tells Gideon to reboot. Nothing happens. Charlie comes in and says that she thought she needed Lachesis’ forgiveness. She realized that Lachesis needs forgiveness and hugs her. She then says that she forgives her. Lachesis tells Charlie that she gave her back her power and her immortality. She was a god, but now she’s nothing. She sits down in despair and Charlie tells her that she’s a human and only has one life to live. Charlie advises her not to waste that life trying to keep everything under control and walks out.

The Legends return to the Waverider and Behrad finishes reactivating Gideon. Gideon figures that Zari is the captain. Zari 1.0 comes in and Zari 2.0 realizes that she has a secret with Nate. Behrad says it’s not a secret, but what is a secret is that Zari 2.0 and Constantine had sex and starts teasing her. Suddenly, Behrad starts bleeding from the wound in his chest from his vision. Zari 1.0 realizes that because she’s there that there are two timelines present and in one of them Behrad died. She figures that she has to go back into the Totem to save her brother.

Nate and Zari 1.0 go to the study to say goodbye. Zari 1.0 admits that she’ll miss him. He hugs her and Zari 1.0 says that she has to do it, but just wishes she was leaving Nate with something. Nate says that she has through bringing back his memories of her and now he gets to remember the woman he loves. They kiss and they both agree that they have no regrets.

Zari 1.0 says goodbye to the other Legends, saying they found her and brought her home. She hugs Behrad and looks at her counterpat. Zari 1.0 then takes control of Behrad’s totem and enters it.

Charlie takes the Legends to the bar and performs a rock version of “Mr. Parker’s Cul-De-Sac” with her punk band The Smell. Lita tells Mick that The Smell is her favorite band and Mick hugs her. Constantine asks Astra what she’s going to next. She says that she figured she would hang out at the House. She gives Constantine his soul coin to pay for the rent and they share a toast.

Charlie finishes her set as the Legends dance. They leave together and Sara figures that it’s time to go home. Charlie says that it’s actually time for her to stay put. Sara tells her to look them up if she ever needs anything. They all share a group hug and the Legends leave for their vacation. A beam of light shines down and, unnoticed by the other Legends as they carry on walking, it lifts Sara up into the sky.
