Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) My sound is versatile and conscious. I try to bring something new to the table with every track. What’s been most consistent over the years has been hard hitting verses.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) I’ve always been a fan of lyricism…Eminem and Method Man influenced me when I was younger. Right now, I’m diggin’ a lot of Russ and Joyner Lucas records.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Problem.” What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) There are so many different flows and cadences on that track. There’s a level of uncertainty with where the song is going. I think people are feeling the rollercoaster effect it has.

Q) How did you come to work with Rick Ross and Sam Hoss on the track?

A) I was presented with the opportunity by one of my business partners…I had to jump on it. I brought the young gunner Sam Hoss on to showcase his talent.

Q) The song dropped on June 12th. How did you celebrate?

A) I celebrated by writing and recording some new music. The response from the song inspired me and I just want to keep the momentum going.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) I do prefer to write to beats. It doesn’t necessarily have to be the exact beat that the lyrics will be on though. I like to listen to a bunch of different beats while I write. Whenever I get stuck, I just get up and walk around…That gets my creativity flowing 99% of the time.

Q) How much of a hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) More so recently. A future goal of mine is to fully produce one of my own projects. I gotta make that happen sooner than later. Being the co-owner of Anno Domini Nation, a production company based out of LA, I’ve been blessed to work with our talented roster of producers.

Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?

A) I’m currently focusing on a bunch of big singles. I might release an EP late 2020 or first quarter of 2021. On July 11th I released a new song “Bloodshed” featuring MTV’s “Wild n Out” cast member Charron and R&B singer Ali.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) If you would have asked me a couple months ago I would have said Lil Wayne… but that just happened! “Mad Man” ft. Lil Wayne is droppin’ at the end of August. A Rihanna collaboration would be lit.

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) I’m listening to the ADHD album by Joyner Lucas. I’m feeling his song concepts and the way he puts his own twist on today’s Hip Hop.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Social media allows me to stay connected and interact with my fans on a more personal level. I do my best to respond to as many messages as I can.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) Thank you for following me on this journey! I love and appreciate ya’ll!
