Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) In resonance with the sacred primordial OHMMMMMMMMMMMM∞. . . . . Feet on the ground head in the heavens. GUITARZ, BEATZ, SINCERELY EXPRESSED HUMAN SPIRIT. Transcend genre. No Limitation.

Q Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Revolutionary artists. MARLEY, Pac, Lennon. West Coast Vibes –Jack Johnson & Sublime. Music that captivates me & either stimulates energy or brings me back to stillness & peace.

Q) Talk about the story behind your upcoming single and the title.

A) “The Pacific” is a song to my roots. Displaying admiration and respect for the environment and culture I was raised in. From the DEEP beauty of the Northwest mountains down through Venice and Orange County. Always staying close to the infinite beauty and majesty of the west coast. I sent the demo I laid down to this producer name Tank God, who produced “rockstar” by Post Malone and I just wanted to see if he dug the track. He responded, “Bro, this record is a hit. Let’s release this ASAP,” so he helped make a beat for it and sent it back to me. I added some real Native American flutes that I played myself, some hand percussion, some crazy guitar stuff and then finished up the vocal production. I’m extremely happy with it. Can’t wait to do more songs.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans are going to connect to?

A) The passion, the sincerity in the lyrics, the real organic music and the currentness. Aiming to be both timeless and current. I hope they’ll appreciate the actual musicianship because that’s lost nowadays. People be making beats in like fifteen minutes and I spend a lot of time on my songs (days/weeks/months/years) because I know I’ll be performing it for the rest of my life so I want to make sure it’s a dance that I could vibe with forever.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) I always start with the lyrics first, which apparently is weird. For me lyrics matter most.

Q) How much of hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I write every word, every melody. I do the guitars, do maybe 50% of the instrumental production, then I’ll find a producer that I trust and send them everything and let them put it all together. If I was to do everything myself, it would take too much time and the song would be lost from listening to it too many times.

Q) What can fans expect from a live Drew Chadwick performance?

A) When you go to a concert, the artist is kind of the centerpiece of the gathering and they generate a certain resonance. The audience becomes synchronized with that resonance and for a moment and for an hour, maybe two, everyone in the facility is equal and vibing on the same frequency.

If your frequency is a high vibration, then when the show`s over everyone that’s on that vibration carries it out into the world and that vibe reverberates throughout humanity. That’s why it’s crucial to make sure that the vibe you’re generating, and channeling is one based in love. Otherwise, you’re literally bringing down the vibe of the world.

Q) Will there be a full EP or album coming in the near future?

A) Absolutely! I legit have so many vibes lined up.

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) When I’m in that space performing or whatever, I’m home. Doesn’t matter where I’m at or who’s watching, if I’m in that space, I’m infinite.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Whoever the biggest artist in the world is, the most popular, I want to collaborate with them and write a song that enlightens humanity because then it will get the most reach and have the most impact.

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) I pretty much just listen to like classic rock and meditation music. I like classic rock because I trust it. I like meditation music because it helps me transcend my mind which is the main cause of suffering.

Q) What did you take away or learn from your time working on X-Factor?

A) You can put a ton of money behind an artist or a group, but that doesn’t mean it will be a true success.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Social media is the evolution of human interaction and connectivity. It’s a new paradigm that we are still only discovering that has so much power and so much potential.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) When you look at me see yourself. Because I am you and you are me and there are no others.
