Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) I think my sound is dynamic and authentic. I love all genres of music and I try to incorporate all of those styles in my music.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) I love many artists. Some of them are Hailee Steinfeld, Kacey Musgraves and Adele. I love how they are so versatile and unique. I think that’s important as an artist, to be real.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Games.”

A) “The Games” song is based on a relationship and a guy who is a player. The battle is figuring out the truth and what was a lie.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) Anyone can interpret this song to “their” story. It’s very relatable and real all at the same time. Sometimes it’s hard to voice what we are going through in relationships and music is a great outlet to embrace those feelings.

Q) How does the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) The music video is a play on words. I used objects almost like game pieces to link the story together while showing my personality as well.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) I journal everything and every day. Sometimes I connect different journal pieces together and it ends up making a great verse or chorus. I don’t always need the music first. Sometimes the melody comes to me first and sometimes the lyrics. It’s always ever-changing. Songwriting is such an important part of the creative process for an artist. It not only allows you to be vulnerable, but allows you to connect and share your story.

Q) How much of hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I try my best to be very present in the production as much as I can. I like adding additional instruments and my favorite thing to do is harmonies. I have learned a lot about production in my home studio and plan continuing to learn more. It’s such a fun process and I love that creative side.

Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?

A) That is a goal of mine for sure. But for now, I have many songs in the process. Get ready, I have lots to share soon!

Q) At only sixteen years old, how do you manage school and a successful music career?

A) I am homeschooled and have been for over three years. Staying educated is very important with any career and especially the business side of this industry. Homeschool has allowed me to have more time to focus on my career.

Q) You’re also killing it at TikTok! What are some tips you’d offer people who are just joining the platform?

A) It’s important to just have fun. It’s a great platform to be creative. Stay focused on you and don’t be afraid to show your creative side.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) That is something I want to do for sure very soon. I would love to hear Kacey Musgraves featured on a song of mine. I am open to so many artist though, as I have many favorites. The thing about music is that you can put artists from different genres together and it makes a fun and different collaboration.

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) Currently, I’m streaming Lennon Stella and Olivia O’Brien. They have a sound that I vibe with and love blasting in my car.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Because of where we are today, social media IS the connection to my supporters. The pandemic makes it hard for musicians to meet people or perform publicly so we have to rely on social media to connect with them. I really enjoy being able to connect with my supporters from all over the world as well.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) I love being able to make my supporters smile. I love that I can be myself with them and they love me for that. I’m so grateful! Thank you for supporting me and believing in me.
