Q) What are the recent projects you have been working on?

A) I just finished a Danish film that I shot right after “Westworld.”

Q) How was your character Antoine Costa originally described to you?

A) He was originally described as a tech expert coming into the park to try to figure out what happened in the last season.

Q) Was there anything you added to the character that wasn’t in the initial breakdown?

A) Of course, you add humanity to the character and as much background story as you can. I thought he would be very respectful towards the hosts. That was actually part of the character description through the beginning and not just make him a tech geek.

Q) What did you find challenging about your role?

A) Every now and then there is a bunch of technical stuff and that can sometimes be challenging. You just need to get used to that. Other than that, it was pretty straight forward.

Q) Was there someone in particular you were hoping to have a scene with?

A) Everybody. All the cast members on “Westworld” are great to work with. I’m really happy that we got to work with the ones we got to work with. I’m a big fan of Jeffrey Wright. Other than that, because the season is not completely out yet, I don’t want to hint who I am working with and who I’m not working with.

Q) What were some of your most memorable moments from filming the show?

A) All the locations, wherever we were was incredibly beautiful. Almost every location was breathtaking.

Q) Talk about how the cinematography adds to show.

A) It’s beautiful cinematography and we have some of the best people in the world doing it. It looks beautiful and you really feel safe in the hands of those people. They take the time to make it look nice and not rushed, which is super cool.

Q) What is it about “Westworld” that you think has made it such a fan favorite series?

A) I think it’s the lure of “Westworld” and the topic. It’s got so many layers and different characters. The writing is great and they put a lot of time into it. They don’t rush anything. I think that makes it very complex and I totally understand why there is such a big fanbase.

Q) What advice would you give to up and coming actors and actresses?

A) [laughs] Enjoy the ride. In general, I think one of the most important traits of an actor is to be patient. Wait for the right thing. Don’t look too much at how other people are doing it or when it is happening for other people. Everybody has their own pace and path to take. Mostly, just be patient.
