Cate (Maddie Phillips) has made the choice to give back their memories to each one of her friends. As soon as Emma (Lizze Broadway) remembers everything about Sam (Asa Germann) she immediately goes in search of him. Meanwhile, Marie (Jaz Sinclair) and Jordan (London Thor)/(Derek Luh) stay and talk to Cate trying to understand what made her act the way she did. Sometime later Marie decides to pay a visit to Andre (Chance Perdomo) to check on him but the guy is still very upset about the recent events. While they are talking Jordan yells at them from the other room asking for help since Cate has fainted. The other two run towards them and Marie uses her powers to accelerate Cate’s pulse since it seems that it is getting slower by the minute. Thankfully, she manages to bring her back to normal. Now, the three of them are gathered around her intending to plan the next move. However, Cate seems to wake up only to disappear in a haste into a different reality dragging them and Dusty (Andy Walken) with her. In the meantime, at The Woods Dr. Cardosa (Marco Pigossi) calls for Dean Shetty (Shelley Conn) to let her know about his recent developments with the virus he has created. He takes her to the cell of a supe called Betsy (Briana-Lynn Brieiro) who had been injected with the virus only a couple days ago and now her powers are bound. This means they have accomplished what they have been wanting and now they can finally have full control of the supes. Sadly, this does not seem to be enough for the woman who asks the doctor to increase the dose on Betsy and see how sick they can make her.

Back to the supes, they now find themselves in the middle of the woods where they see Cate’s Mom (Samantha Espie) in the company of the Sheriff (John Cleland) looking for her son. A very Young Cate (Violet Marino) shows up apologizing for what she did but all she receives is her mother’s rejection as the woman asks the Sheriff to take her out of her sight. It is there when the others realize that they have been taken to one of Cate’s memories and probably inside her mind. While they are still trying to make sense of what they are experiencing, Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) comes out of nowhere claiming to be Cate’s imaginary friend and boyfriend. He also recognizes Andre as Cate’s “new hookup.” All of a sudden what seems to be a lightning strikes nearby and the man tells them that what they saw was just Cate’s veins exploding. He warns them about what might happen if they don’t find their way out immediately. And, as a bad omen, before he can tell what to avoid he gets pulverized  by one of those lightning bolts, which make the others walk away from there looking for a solution. On their way they are met with another memory where we can see a teenage Cate that has seemed to have spent her recent years locked up in her room out of the fear that she might hurt someone else. Unexpectedly, her door opens and we see her mother as she lets another woman in that turns out to be none other than Dean Shetty. As a way to empathize with the teenager, Shetty convinces her that what happened to her brother was not her fault and takes the chance to offer her to go with her to God U. After witnessing all of that the three are taken to a classroom where they see how Luke (Patrick Schwarzenegger) and Cate first met but Andre doesn’t bear to see his friend looking as though he was still alive. Andre tries to leave but before he does Luke says that he has missed him – a confession that stops Andre right in his tracks. Everything appears to go smoothly between the two until Luke confesses that he knew that he and Cate we’re cheating on him and shows them the different encounters they had behind his back. He tries to kill Andre and anyone who gets in the middle of his way. Marie and Jordan try to stop him but their powers are not really working there. The trio run terrified all the way until they suddenly find themselves standing outside Brink’s (Clancy Brown) office. Then, Jordan (while in female form) comes out of nowhere and tries to hear what seem to be and arguing happening inside. As the voices start to raise, Jordan makes the choice to open the door and sees Luke demanding answers from Brink about his brother’s whereabouts. The guy slowly starts to burn and Jordan finds a way to make him stop by putting him to sleep, saving Brink. As a way to thank them, Brink offers Jordan a job as his TA. As it is expected, this does not sit well either for Andre or Marie who stare at them disappointedly. To make matters worse, the Jordan from the memory, looks at the other Jordan saying that they could have helped Luke but decided to betray him out of greediness. The next stop on this “memory lane” is The Woods where Dean Shetty and Dr. Cardosa are making another experiment with Luke and Sam. While in the middle of a blood transfusion Luke wakes up desperate but they use Cate’s powers to calm him down and make him forget which proves that the girl has been collaborating with The Woods all along (her intentions were right but her actions, not so much) and had made Luke forget over and over until she might have finally broken him. At last, the trio finds a door that Marie recognizes quite well and before she opens it she is very confident about what she will find inside of it: her dead parents Jackie (Miatta Lebile) and Malcolm (Ty Barnett) as well as her very terrified young sister Annabeth (Maria Nash) who looks her straight in the eye and tells her that for her she will always be a murderer. Finally, the three of them find themselves face to face with Cate while still inside her head and Andre convinces her to fight to wake up and help them fix everything and she does. Now, they are fully awake again and ready to keep going when Emma walks in hand in hand with Sam with whom she has spent the day having sex with. When the guy sees Cate he goes straight to her and tries to kill her, but Emma talks him out of it and he lets her go. Now that things have settled down a little between all of them the group of supes have a bigger goal in mind which is to go after Dean Shetty who appears to be the common thread in all of this madness.

Meanwhile, at The Woods things have gotten a little out of control as Dr. Cardosa calls for Dean Shetty looking very terrified. He leads her to Betsy’s cell where we can see her dead body lying on the floor. It seems that the increase of the dose ended up killing her and the doctor doesn’t know what comes next for them after what they did. However,  the only thing that appears to be concerning Dean Shetty is if he can make the virus contagious.
