Dean Shetty (Shelley Conn) is now officially dead, Polarity (Sean Patrick Thomas) is still at the hospital recovering from the attack and we might have been left with a young, confused and terrified supes that don’t exactly know what comes next for them. However, for Cate (Maddie Phillips), everything is as clear as daylight as she is determined to put an end to the misery they all have been forced to endure throughout the years. And although most of them don’t agree with the way she has been handling things, she has found herself an ally as Sam (Asa Germann) decides to join her on her seek for justice and be the heroes the University needs them to be. Marie (Jaz Sinclair), Emma (Lizze Broadway) and Jordan (London Thor) / (Derek Luh) try to talk them out of their plans but to no avail. So, they end up letting them go. Jordan tries to call the campus police but is stopped by Emma who thinks it will only make everything worse and they’ll end up capturing Sam and sending him back to The Woods. As talking hasn’t worked the trio resolves there just one thing left to do and that is to find a way to stop them from making the biggest mistake of their lives.

At the Vought Tower hospital, Andre (Chance Perdomo) waits impatiently for his father’s test results. Marie tries to reach him but at this moment there’s nothing more important than his father’s well-being. The neurologist (Farhang Ghajar) shows up and informs him that the use of Polarity’s powers has been causing a brain damage over the years and although there’s a treatment that would help him slow the effects, there’s nothing they can do to reverse his condition. Also, to make matters worse, this is something that may also happen to him as well. The doctor leaves and Andre realizes that his father is now awake so he takes the chance to talk to him about what he just learned but Polarity’s mind is now set on just one thing and it is to make sure that Andre takes his place as Polarity since the whole family is counting on him. The man also takes the opportunity to apologize for doing nothing about The Woods and explains that all he wanted was to protect him.

Back at God U, Ashley (Colby Minifie) has called to a board meeting in order to make a plan that will distract everyone’s attention from the chaos that had seemed to be installed recently at the University. The woman requests each member of the board (John Nightingale), (Louis Kerr), (Brian Smegal) and (Sabrina Saudin) to choose a student and the one who’s voted the most will be sent straight to “The Seven.” Meanwhile, Cate and Sam have made their way to The Woods where the second one kills one of the security guards (Ryan Bannon) and then with one single touch to the head of another guard (Murray Urquhart) Cate convinces him to unlock the cells. The duo walks by the corridors seeing how every door is now wide open and ask everyone to join them but then Sam stays behind and decides to explore his old cell. There he sees Luke (Patrick Schwarzenegger) who tries to convince him to stop from hurting anyone else, but to this point there’s nothing that would make Sam to give a step back on this so he rushes out leaving Luke “locked” inside the cell. With sadness, Cate see what the virus has done to other supes and this only feeds up her hunger for justice so, she persuades the others (Jennifer Dzialoszynski), (Kirpa Budwal) and (Vaios Skretas) to prove how superior they are over the humans. At campus everything appears to go as always as we see Rufus (Alexander Calvert) trying to record a reaction video being interrupted by a Sweaty Supe (Kaveh Ebadi) who decides to spare his life when he realizes that the blonde guy is just like him. Unfortunately, we cannot say the same about a teacher (Christine Sahely) that passes nearby and ends up being roasted by the supe. Just like that the chaos truly begins. Emma, Jordan and Marie arrive to The Woods but sadly they have a run-in with something much worse than they expected as they see the havoc the other two have made. The three decide to split so they can stop the massacre as soon as possible and Jordan suggests Emma to go to Dean Shetty’s office and find the panic button that will lock the place down.

God U might be a hot mess now something to what “social media” Jeff (Dan Beirne) is now truly aware of until he is meet with a student that is killed right in front of his eyes by a supe. In order to protect himself, he immediately takes out a device that sends an electronic humming bringing the supe to her knees. He then places another device inside her mouth and with just one click of a button, he makes her head explode. Unluckily for him, Cate has been watching everything and now, he is forced to do the same to himself while she broadcasts the whole event live and making the whole board to finally realize of what was happening out there. Across campus, a theater class is interrupted by a very disoriented yet amused Sam that walks in exploring everything around him. The teacher (P.J. Byrne) asks him to join the class so he can continue, but when he doesn’t get a response from him he asks him to leave. Therefore, Sam tries to strangles him, making everyone run outside in panic. Right that moment Emma enters the place and asks him to stop so he releases the teacher who leaves as soon as she can. The two are now left alone so Emma takes the chance to try to change his mind about what he is doing but all she gets from him are some very hurtful things instead. Sam tells her how he believes that she will do anything to buy people’s love which he thinks that’s the reason she helped him in the first place. To top things off, he says that she is not a real hero and then leaves. Emma begins to cry and by the time she notices she has shrunk.

Cate calls Andre asking him to join her on campus and help her accomplish her plans so they can finally be togethe,r but he is as terrified and unsure about her request. Later on, Sam is still haunted by Luke’s presence who keeps asking him to give up on what he is doing, but then Cate comes in and offers to help him feel nothing to what he agrees. To this point, there’s nothing but fear and blood surrounding campus. Marie finally arrives to Dean Shetty’s office and pushes the panic button locking everyone down in their rooms. Justine (Maia Jae Bastidas) is broadcasting live the whole situation from her dorm until the Wi-Fi is cut off. Suddenly, a sonic whistle is released across campus nearly debilitating all of the supes and the members of the board watch in relief from their office window how the supes are falling one by one but then someone blows the speakers and the massacre continues. A crack begins to grow on all of the office windows so, Ashley makes the order to call Homelander (Antony Starr) and request for a helicopter. In the meantime, she plans to call as many supes as she can and offer them a spot in “The Seven” in exchange for their help so she calls Marie and proposes her not only that but also a meeting with her sister if she agrees to collaborate with them. The helicopter has arrived and when Cate sees it she orders a supe (Jackson Rozario) to bring it down. Andre shows up and with the use of his powers he brings the helicopter safe to land but the level of energy invested on this weakens him. Marie convinces him to team up with her and help her stop Cate, but there is nothing that they could say to make her change her mind. All of a sudden, Maverick (Nicholas Hamilton) shows up saying that he was offered something if he would manage to bring her down. However, before he could say anything else Cate orders him to go against Marie while she takes the opportunity to escape. Andre chases her while Marie defends herself against the invisible guy. It seems that she is losing, until she reminds something she learned from Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) which was to find a way to focus on other people’s blood so she would see it running through their veins. She does so and this helps her take the other guy out.

Jordan helps the members of the board hide in the helicopter that is now standing in the middle of the field while Andre tries to talk to Cate, but then he is taken down by Sam and they start a fight that Andre appears to be losing. That is until he uses his power to call for a taser and brings him down. Once again, Marie attempts to bring some sense into Cate but nothing works. Then, she sees how other supes are attacking Jordan for having helped the board members so Marie goes in to give Jordan assistance and sends the others down. One of the supes escapes and goes straight to the helicopter to kill the board members but Marie manages to strengthen her powers by using the dead bodies’ blood to create sharp clots that end up killing him. Jordan sees Marie in awe from across the field and then they make their way towards her but then Cate shows up attempting to touch Jordan and bring them on her side so Marie reacts protectively and blows her hand making the young woman scream in pain. At that moment, Homelander comes down from the sky and unfortunately for Marie, he believes that she is responsible for the whole massacre so he uses his laser eyes power to bring her to the ground.

Some time has passed and now we see as news anchor Cameron Coleman (Matthew Edison) state that Marie, Andre Emma and Jordan were the ones behind the massacre at God U and how Cate and Sam were the real heroes. Later on, Marie wakes up a little confused in what appears to be a hospital room, wearing a hospital gown and sees that Jordan, Emma and Andre are also there, in the same outfit. He tells her how she managed to survive the attack from Homelander that she does not seem to remember, but despite what this might represent what truly draws her attention is the room they are in with no doors or windows. Marie asks them where they are but no one answers.
