Cassie (Catherine Bell) and Martha (Catherine Disher) are discussing about her new TV show. Martha would like for Cassie to show up and prepare some holistic healing demos and the woman happily agrees. Right that moment a man called Henry (Wade Bogert O’Brien) shows up at the entrance introducing himself as the new guest. Martha questions him about his reason to stay at The Grey House and he mentions that he needs to find some peace. He also explains that he has served at the military and Martha finds it fascinating for him to be her first guest since she believes he might have some very good stories to tell. He politely declines as he confesses that his stories are not that interesting and he is also very shy to show up on TV.

Abigail (Sarah Power) confesses to Grace (Bailee Madison) that she is worried about an upcoming budget proposal meeting and Grace offers herself to help her with her duties. She has been an intern at Sam’s office before so she believes that she can be her intern too.

Sam (James Denton) is having some talk with Adam (Scott Cavalheiro) when a man named Patrick (Thom Marriott) shows up presenting himself as Sam’s old friend. When Adam leaves them alone for them to catch up, Patrick asks for his friend assistance with a patient. However, before he explains about it, he bends in pain while rubbing his left arm and chest. Sam takes him to his office and is there when he finds out that Patrick is the patient himself. He had been feeling ill recently and visited a different cardiologists, but none of them had given him any proper diagnose. So, after a while, he finally makes Sam run some tests on him and help him.

Cassie offers some tea to Henry that he pleasantly accepts. He sees a piano and mentions that he used to play as it helped him to think. So, Cassie leaves the room and gives him some space to play. While he does a woman named Olivia (Tina Jung) shows up and watches him lovingly. When he finds out he gets a little shy and the woman says she is sorry for interrupting him. She guesses the melody he has been playing and he is surprised. Olivia tells him how much she would love to have learned to play as Henry also confesses that he would’ve love to know more about poetry when the woman quotes a well-known author for him.

Grace stops by Stephanie’s (Kylee Evans) bistro to pick up some coffee for Abigail on her first day at work and shares a brief talk with Vincent (Gianpaolo Venuta) before she leaves. Right after Olivia shows up and asks for a coffee while Stephanie thanks her for organizing the bistro’s first open mic. Henry, who is just walking into the place, hears it and joins to the conversation. Henry mentions that he is from a place called “Cordonia.” Vincent overhears it and tells him that he has sailed its port before. Henry gets obviously nervous and pretends to take a call leaving the place in a haste.

Grace arrives happily to Abigail’s office, but realizes that somebody got her a coffee way before her. A guy named Luke (Dale Whibley) is standing next to her and Abigail introduces him as her other intern. The guy doesn’t seem to be so pleased with Grace’s addition to the team and makes sure to let her know that he doesn’t believe she belongs there.

Sam introduces Patrick and Cassie and the man cannot believe that Sam has gotten himself such a wonderful woman. He tells them about his marriage, but something doesn’t seem to be just right when he does.

Abi pays a visit to Donovan (Marc Bendavid) and finds him playing golf at his office. Donovan guesses that she is there to tell him that she won’t approve his father’s request to demolish a Middleton’s landmark to build a country club and he is right. He just advises her to be careful because his father always gets what he wants, but the girl tells her that so does she.

The next morning, Patrick meets with Cassie for breakfast at the Grey House. He confesses that his wife doesn’t know anything about his condition and that they are actually separated at the time. He starts to have a headache so Cassie asks him to let her put some lavender oil on his temples, but he refuses by saying that he prefers to take an aspirin.

Grace seems to be in a hurry and she explains to Cassie that she wants to get early to Abi’s office so she can organize her activities for the day. She asks her mom if she believes that Abi gave her the job because they are related. Cassie says that is very likely which is not the answer the girl was hoping for. Cassie tells her that said reason doesn’t mean she doesn’t deserve it, but Grace replies that it is not what Luke thinks so she will try to prove him wrong.

Donovan’s father, Davis Davenport (Rod Wilson), walks unannounced into Abi’s office asking for her to approve his petition to build his country club. Once again she refuses. He says that doing so will bring money and prestige to Middleton, but the mayor says that is far different from the image they are looking for. The man tells her that in that case he has no choice but to ask his lawyers to talk to her.

Stephanie is excited about her date with Vincent so she stops by Cassie’s store looking for a nice pair of earrings. When Cassie hears her, she decides to give them to her as a gift and wishes her luck. Martha also shows up at the store making sure that Cassie is ready for her TV appearance the next day but ,as always, the woman is one step ahead of it. At the hospital Sam confirms to Patrick that given his test result, he is in good health. The man apologizes to Sam for how he treated him back in med school and confesses that he was jealous of his talent.

It’s open mic night and Henry and Olivia and sharing some conversation about poetry. The man encourages her to read some of her original work and she finally finds the courage to do it, leaving the man fascinated by it. When both of them return to the Grey House he asks her on a date and she happily agrees. When she goes to bed and Henry is left alone, Vincent shows up telling him that he knows where he knows him from. Vincent asks him, “What is the prince Henry of Cordonia doing in Middleton?” Henry gets nervous and asks him to keep it between them, but unfortunately Olivia has heard it all.

Sam gets a call from Patrick’s wife just to know how he’s doing. He finds out that they are separated. When he tells Cassie, she confesses that she already knew. Sam believes that stress is the cause of Patrick’s condition, but Cassie tells him that to be heartbroken may also be an option.

Olivia is reading a story to some kids when Henry shows up in his prince outfit asking for her forgiveness. He introduces himself again and asks her on an official date in front of everyone’s surprised looks.

Grace meets with Abi and the woman is surprised to see that she has gone far ahead than she expected. When they meet with Luke and he tries to set up her day, Abi thanks him but tells him that Grace has beaten him to it. Donovan visits Abi to ask her to let his father do what he wants, but he won’t twist her arm that easily.

Stephanie and Vincent first date seems to have gone pretty well. She tells him that she is planning to buy a food truck but one that is within her price range. Vincent says that maybe he can help her with that.

Henry stops by Cassie’s store wanting to buy a gift for Olivia. The woman suggests buying her a diary to write down her poems and asks him to trust his heart in regards to the librarian.

When Martha finds out about Henry she tries to know more about him. She discovers that he is engaged to a duchess and goes to tell Olivia immediately.

Henry shows up at the Grey House looking for Olivia and telling Cassie that he just cannot find her anywhere. The librarian comes down the stairs and tells him that she knows he is engaged. He tries to explain himself, but she leaves anyway. When he is left alone with Cassie he confesses that his parents are the ones that want him to marry the duchess but that is not what he truly wants.

Luke and Grace are doing some research and trying to help Abi to stop the demolition of the wishing well. The girl thinks that it will take some magic to actually stop it from happening. More tests result has come back just to confirm that Patrick is in perfect health. Sam suggests that the reason might be something else and also says that Cassie believes that it might be related to his broken heart. As expected, Patrick does not believe this. He says that his wife is done with him, but Sam suggests to give it a try. It would probably be difficult but really worth it.

Davis shows up at Abi’s office again saying that this is her last chance to change her mind about the country club, but she stands firm in her decision. Right that moment Donovan arrives saying that if he builds the club they will lose a piece of history. So, he pulls a deal that makes his father step away from his original idea.

Cassie’s appearance on Martha’s show has arrived. When they are about to start Henry shows up asking for a chance to speak on live TV and Martha agrees. He asks Olivia for a second chance and confirms that she was right when she said that “the only true freedom is love.”

Later that day Donovan arrives at Abi’s flower shop. She gives him a box of his favorite chocolates as a thank you for stepping up for her. Henry goes to the library to find Olivia and when he does, the woman asks her if what he said was the truth. He says that he meant every word.

Sam and Cassie are eating some cake when Patrick walks in saying that he is finally going home. It seems he had a long chat with his wife and things are far better now. Martha goes over to Abi’s office saying that the town line and her house are back in Middleton so she can be mayor again. Abi is more than happy to return the job.

Luke and Grace are enjoying some food at Stephanie’s bistro when he gets a call. The person on the other line seems to be pushing him to do something and he just replies that he is just getting the mayor to trust him. He states they have everything they need so there is nothing to be worried about.
