In this poignant story, directed by Bonnie Discepolo, a Southern mother’s (Anna Camp) world is shaken up when her ten-year-old daughter (Katie Beth West) claims to be the reincarnation of the king of rock and roll.  The film creatively uses the music and persona of the iconic artist Elvis Presley to address the topics of social stigma and isolation when it comes to self and gender identity.

Written together with Trevor Munson, Discepolo creates a unique way to illustrate the journey of realizing and coming to terms with who you are and the obstacles that come with it. Both Camp and West are outstanding in GraceLand, truly capturing the unwavering bond between mother and daughter.

GraceLand is a touching story that is sure to resonate with viewers. Make sure to have tissues on hand.
