Q) What inspired you to write the song “Invincible?”

A) We took inspiration from our environment. 24/7 we see political arguments and news headlines about how bad things are. If we stopped arguing, and started working together, we could accomplish so much more.

Q) Why do you feel that a song like “Invincible” is needed during this time?

A) Working together during a time of crisis like we’re experiencing with COVID-19 is the only way we will make it out okay. Everyone’s hurting, nobody wants to be locked at home, but we can ease that burden by being kind, helping those who need it, and working together.

Q) You had Nick Ingram (Hawthorne Heights, Hotel Books) produce “Invincible” as well as your 2018 album release What We Left Behind. How much influence did he have over this track and the overall sound of your music?

A) Nick is the man. He really helped us reach our full potential. He’s always known how to get the best possible product out of us. We have nothing. It’s praise for Nick and Capital House Studios.

Q) With the release of “Invincible” is there a potential new album in the works and if so, what can we expect from it?

A) We can’t promise a new album just yet, but we have a few cool things in the works, including some new music! We’ve been quietly working hard.

Q) With COVID-19 suspending all concerts until further notice, have you given any thought to potentially doing a live-stream concert for your fans?

A) Actually, the day before Ohio’s stay at home order we recorded a live set and streamed it a couple weeks ago! It was fun to do and I think people enjoyed it!

Q) As many artists have recorded live-stream shows to share with their fans, why do you feel music is important to getting through this time?

A) Music is important just to get through everyday life, let alone a public health crisis. Hope is a powerful thing and music is the easiest way I can think to inspire hope in someone. It’s a way for us to forget about the bad for just a few minutes and indulge in something we love.

Q) If you could cover any song for your next album, what would it be and why?

A) For me personally, any Goo Goo Dolls song! However, there may or may not be something in the works already…

Q) If I were to take a look at your current playlist, who would I find you listening to?

A) I listen to a little bit of everything! I’ve been enjoying Four Year Strong’s latest album lately. I’ve also been on a big EDM kick.

Q) Who would you love to collaborate with in the future?

A) I’d love one day to work with John Feldmann! I love his production and I think it would be a blast to hang out with him!

Q) What would you like to share with your fans and supporters of your music?

A) I’d like to share our gratitude for every single person that listens to our music. The fact that people give us their attention for three minutes to hear the product we put so much work into is an amazing feeling! We couldn’t do it without all the support our fans have given us!
