How to Get Away with Murder has three episodes left this season and with the giant reveal this episode the next three will definitely be ones you don’t want to miss! Last week’s “We Know Everything” set up a house of cards that might get blown down with the slightest gust of wind to it. Let’s break the episode down below.

We open with where we left off last week with Annalise (Viola Davis) getting called in to help Gabe (Rome Flynn) with his arrest. She’s under the impression that she’s there for him to play her and trap her into something, but he swears he seriously needs help and that he wasn’t even truly working for Miller because he never told him anything or received any info in return. And she seems to believe him because she agrees to help him out.

It turns out the reason he is being charged is because he committed domestic terrorism by throwing chemical agents at police during a black lives matter protest back in 2014. While it may truly be him, the person in the picture is covered in a mask and unrecognizable. They try to use this to their advantage by making sure he has no threats listed online or in any texts. So, Oliver (Conrad Ricamora) gets the passwords and along with Laurel (Karla Souza), Michaela (Aja Naomi King), Connor (Jack Falahee) and Asher (Matt McGorry) search for any evidence to clear him and lucky for them it turns out that the FBI planted the mask at his apartment (thanks Frank’s spy cams, you came in handy yet again) and that really this whole thing was all in attempt to get Gabriel to cross Annalise. The quest to get him to cross her and give up that everything that has happened in the past few years had to do with her and her kids, but so far Special Agent Claire Telesco (Melinda Paige Hamilton) has nothing to go off of but a theory.

They have a theory and an impressive murder board, which tracks not only Miller’s case but on all the major cases and mysteries since season one including Sam, Lila, Rebecca, the Hapstalls and Emily Sinclair, Mahoney, Wes, the fire, Antares, Denver, Jorge Castillo and all of that connecting to the present day and Miller. So, at the end of this year either someone will take the fall for it all or they will need to call Olivia Pope again to clean this whole mess up.

Speaking of Telesco, she tries to get Tegan (Amirah Vann) to snitch on Annalise if anything strange happens, but she won’t really get the chance to because Oliver and the gang scare her by sending her an email compromising her “Jane Doe” identity in the Antares case. The I.T. Department then flags the email and sends it up to Emmett (Timothy Hutton) who is concerned immediately and calls Annalise into his office to ask her about any sketchy behavior of Tegan’s. But Annalise sticks up for her and tells her that Emmett has nothing to worry about. Emmett then takes it upon himself to request Annalise’s work emails to see if he can find anything suspicious and let’s hope she’s smart enough to not have anything on there that he can use as blackmail.

Our other important storyline was Nate (Billy Brown), Frank (Charlie Weber) and Bonnie’s (Liza Weil) continuing their mission to link Miller and the Governor. It turns out he’s the one who dug up the adoption and gave it to the Governor for her to use as blackmail so it maybe completely possibly that he and Governor Birkhead are truly responsible for Nate Sr’s death. That is unless, of course, all of this is a red herring and someone else is in charge of his death. Maybe C&G? Highly doubtful but with this show it’s possible.

In the end, in order to give the FBI this information they have to have Gabriel pass it along and ask the FBI from protection from a lady named “Lynne,” a/k/a Birkhead. Soon after Nate and Bonnie go rogue and decide that Miller’s body should show up, mostly due to the fact that Bonnie began meeting with his mother as a way to cope and try to get some answers but this is only gonna end up negatively for her.

All of this only leads to more drama since Michaela removes, hopefully, only one camera or a decoy camera from Gabriel’s apartment after he was pissed that they were spying on him. This will lead to more drama either way with the gang since Michaela may be trying to give Gabe another chance. But I don’t think they will be able to worry about that since Miller’s body was just found and as soon as it shows up on the news Connor’s mom Pam posts a photo on Instagram of her and Asher from the wedding and who’s in the background… NATE AND MILLER!
