Q) How would you describe your sound?

At this point, I have quite a few sounds, but one thing for certain is that it will leave people saying “wow.” Mixing rap with singing, singing with rap, creating good vibes for both women and men.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Chris Brown, Drake, Trey Songz, Michael Jackson and a few others with this similar sound.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “All These People.”

A) “All These People” – the main fact about this song is…Once a person starts doing well, making money or become successful in whatever way… everyone then starts to come out, asking for help or money or want to join you. This song is stating regardless of how big I get, I can’t help everyone and everyone that just started coming around for the wrong reasons cant stick around.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) I think fans really connect to the message that is presented in the song… and the sound.

Q) How did you come to feature Drake on the track?

A) This song was a blessing. My manager has a friend over at OVO and made things possible to do this… As we all know, you can’t really pay Drake for a feat, so I’m just grateful and honored at the moment.

Q) What is your songwriting process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) I normally play the beat until it’s stuck in my head, and then I write… I write all my stuff in the car… That’s my creative place. [laughs]

Q) How much of hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I actually don’t make beats I only engineer my music and send it off to get a good master.

Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?

A) There will definitely be more music, but I will be pushing my current album its time until the wheels fall off.

Q) With concerts currently on hold, what do you miss most about being on stage?

A) I miss everything about it, the nerves, the connections I make, the experience and the videos.

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) I like to perform wherever there is love in the building! A good sound system and a nice size stage. Nothing else matters to me. [laughs]

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Ella Mai

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) I’m only listening to its time right now. Constantly working on improvements.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Social media is the way of the world now…It’s their way to get to know me without meeting me…

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) I really appreciate and love them all. They are the reason I am climbing the ladder and all I can do to repay them is to keep climbing!
