Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) My sound over the years has fluctuated between many genres such as; Pop, RnB, Hip Hop, Pop Rock and more recently House. I think you should always experiment with your sound to try and find where you’re comfortable, especially if you’re a teen because your voice changes all the time.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) I have grown up in an era with some incredible artists and musicians, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran and Eminem are just a few of the names that come to mind. Ed Sheeran’s + album was the first album I ever bought, and Bruno Mars was the first concert I had ever been too and I listened to Eminem from a young age and it made me love rap music. But even in the last few years artists like Post Malone, 24K Goldn, Iann Dior, Justin Bieber, Joel Corry and so many more have influenced the way I write and my sound right now.

Q) What made you want to cover “Overdrive” by Oliver Heldens X Becky Hill?

A) It was a really funny coincidence to be honest I was filming an episode of my Amazon Prime show “Ghost Hunting with Jack Rose” and we was doing a walk round of the place that we were going to be filming and my iPhone started playing shuffle through my library and “Overdrive” came on. Then, a few weeks later I was in my room just messing around and producing on my laptop and I finished this track and was just singing random songs over it and overdrive worked quite well. So, I recorded a guide vocal and sent it over to my team to see what they thought and from there we had another release for the year. We had spent months perfecting the track and I’m happy to say that the hard work paid off landing a number 3 in the music week charts!

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) It’s a song for everyone to dance, too. It’s a song anyone can work out too in the gym. It’s a song that will lift up the vibe to any party. It’s a feel-good song. It made me feel very good when I was recording the song and whenever I perform it and I hope that I can pass that vibe onto everyone who has heard the track!!

Q) How does the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) There is no music video, unfortunately. The music video for the original track was just incredible and if you haven’t seen it I would go watch it.

Q) You are a part of social media. What kind of fan response have you received to the track?

A) People seem to really enjoy it. I see people on TikTok dancing to it and I’ve seen many people dancing to it when I perform and because it’s a song that everyone knows updated into a new commercial house track.

Q) When it comes to your own music, what is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) You can never write a song without any music to go along with it, in my opinion. Wherever I am I always have my phone and I always write down lines and phrases that pop into my head to fit into songs in the future. But I will always sit down and try to write fresh new stuff.

Q) How much of hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I have had full involvement in every single song. I’ve been at the desk in the studio every single time. I’m a perfectionist and I always want to improve songs with every session I do.

Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?

A) Hopefully, so I’m just releasing as many singles as I can at the moment because I want to find my sound first and find myself first. I want to have the perfect debut album.

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) I love performing in London because it’s like nearest city to me. It’s where I was born and where some of my family are from and I keep London very close to my heart.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Drake or Ed Sheeran. Undeniably the two most famous artists of this generation. If I ever got a collaboration or was even in the same room as them, I would probably cry. [laughs] That’s an achievement.

Q) We love your show “Ghost Hunting with Jack Rose.” Where is somewhere you have yet to explore that you’re dying to go hunting at?

A) Literally any haunted place in America! It just seems like an absolute hotspot and just seems like it would be incredible. If COVID wasn’t so bad again I would definitely fly out there and go!!!

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) Thank you so, so, so much for all the support, streaming my music, coming to my shows everything!!! It honestly means so, so much!!!
