Q) How would you best describe your sound?

A) My songs are a fusion of folk, pop and R&B.

Q) Tell us the story behind your new single “Falling.”

A) “Falling” is about that uncontrollable feeling when you first start liking someone, but not finding the words to tell that person how you feel. The more time you spend with that person, the more you realize how beautiful they truly are. Writing this song was my way of expressing that.

Q) You also recently shot a music video for “Falling.” How did you come up with the concept for the video?

A) Filming the music video independently with a minimal budget meant I had to get creative. I filmed the video using my friend’s ’65 Mustang and then drove it out to Norfolk County for some beautiful scenery.

Q) With the new single, is there a potential album in the works?

A) There is definitely a plan to have an album in the future, but right now I’m focusing on releasing singles on a consistent basis.

Q) What do you hope fans take away from the new single?

A) The fans can expect more music from me and also that I will be experimenting with new sounds.

Q) Are there any specific things you require during your songwriting process and if so, what are they?

A) I need to give myself space and time to get creative.

Q) With live music currently on hold, have you done any virtual shows during this time?

A) I have done some virtual shows on Instagram and YouTube, but I definitely miss performing live!

Q) What do you miss most about performing live?

A) Human connection is what a miss most. Feeling the energy from the crowd during your most vulnerable moments is a feeling that can’t be replicated. I hope we can perform live again soon.

Q) Which three albums and/or artists have influenced your sound the most?

A) Ed Sheeran, Maggie Rogers and Fiona Apple are a few artists that have inspired me.

Q) What would you like to say to your fans & supporters of your music?

A) Thank you for all the support. Hopefully, I can see you in person soon!
