James – Big Brother 7

By  |

Q.  What have you been up to since we last saw you in Season 6?

A.  What have I done since season six?  Sarah convinced me to move to the arctic of Chicago.  We’ve been living in Chicago since November of last year.  I flew to Chicago and went back to my old job and have been doing some modeling also.  I never had a chance to kind of detoxify myself from this whole “Big Brother” experience.  All Stars started to leak out in about December or January and I never had that chance to unwind.  Then I threw myself back into it.

Q.  That can be a good or bad thing with not detoxifying, keeping in the same mind frame.

A.  I was definitely in the game mind frame from the moment I walked into the house.  I just would have liked that chance, I saw the other people who had more time off.  Such as the people from season two or season three, they just kind of handled themselves differently.  They were a little bit more relaxed, they didn’t still have the adrenaline rush from a couple of months before.

Q.  They definitely had more time to relax and get rid of those vengeful feelings.

A.  Oh completely.  There were still obviously a lot of hesitation when it came to trust.  From my angle towards the other people from season six and obviously from their angle as well.  So, had we had more time then who knows, it might have turned out differently.

Q.  We know you weren’t much of a fan of the sovereign alliance last year.  What made you align with them this year?

A.  It was the same thing this year.  What I did was that I told myself I’d give the season six alliance a second chance.  We were automatically grouped together.  When we stepped in the house people wanted to get season six out because there were four of us.  With that, I figured I’d give each individual in that alliance a maximum of one chance.  The moment I felt like they had turned on me or they were working against me, then I’d have to beat them to the punch.  Janelle did a lot of stuff the first week when she gave information to Jase that he gave back to Alison.  They were in the same alliance, I don’t know why she would have trusted him with that information except for the fact that I doubt she was trying to screw me.  I got thrown under the bus by Janelle to Chill Town, she gave information to Marcellas that I had obtained that came back to haunt me as well.  So, I kind of scratched her off the list week one.  Kaysar lied to me about his nominations and about a lot of other stuff.  I guess it was just Big Brother play.  The final straw I guess was week three when I told them if I put up Jase that they all had to promise me that they’d put up Will and Boogie for the next HOH. Week four Janelle goes after Diane, which was a stupid move.  At that point they had just declared war on the entire house and three people and one retard don’t really have the best chances at that point.

Q.  Sounds like you gave Howie too much of a benefit to begin with.

A.  I really did.  He won two HOH’s last year but one was given to him and then he put up me and Sarah.  The other one was rolling a ball down a slate.  He wasn’t in there for his game play, he was in there for his comic relief.  What are you going to do?  America voted him in just like they voted me in, so it’s not all about the game it’s also about producing a show.  He certainly is a lot more entertaining then I am to watch!

Q.  I don’t know, I am not sure how a lot of people feel about all of his ranting with April and now George.

A.  Well, he kept wanting to have a new Busto.  I told him, “Howie these personal attacks worked on April because she was the smallest and most defenseless person in that house.”  This is All-Stars and you go off on a Danielle; and she will cut you!  You pull that crap with Alison and I mean, that’s your ass!  You can’t do this, the game is not personal.  By him saying, “I’m the worst player in here and if I get nominated then it has to be personal, I’m going to go off on them,” that’s ridiculous.  Being that he had the excessive celebration every time we won HOH, was constantly rubbing it in people’s faces that we were in power, you’re creating enemies on every different level.  That’s why I had to detach myself from season six because I had Janelle going after floaters.  I had Kaysar doing I had no idea what.  All the time while everyone is talking crap about how they’re going to go after Chill Town and then I got Howie rubbing it in everyone’s face every time we win.  So, the entire house was coming after season six and I didn’t want to be a part of that.

Q.  At least this time you didn’t have Janelle saying “Pack your bags bitches!”

A.  Yeah, there was no Janelle saying “Pack your bags bitches!”

Q.  We did see the “assault” between you and Janelle during the power of veto competition.

A.  That was hilarious.  I finally got to see the tape this morning on “The Early Show.”  I guess we both originally grabbed the wrong one (doll).  When she blew into me, she had pulled the doll out of my hand.  I am glad I saw it, because they even show her shouting “Give it to me!” as she takes it from me.  Then I got a little kick from her.  I mean I stepped back, she’s a girl and I can’t hit her.  If it was a guy, I definitely would have thrown an elbow or something, maybe even tackled him.  But, she’s a girl and there were rules in place.  I couldn’t hit her back and I was just hoping that the rules would work out in my favor.  They didn’t, you win some and you lose some and now I’m sitting here talking to you.

Q.  Well then there was the part where she flicked you off and called you a jerk!

A.  No, I didn’t see the part where she flicked me off.  Oh, oh well.  Oh well, I am a jerk, that’s why I was on the show.  I am not there to kiss anyone’s ass, I’m not there to have America like me.  I am there toplay the game and that was one of the most disappointing things.  When I found out George didn’t nominate Janelle because he found out she was popular, that alone should have been cause for immediate ejection for George.  That’s the stupidest statement I’ve ever heard from anyone.  It’s just a clear reminder that “Big Brother 1” has no place in “Big Brother All Stars.”

Q.  Yes, he said he wasn’t going to nominate her because she’s such a great player.  That was kind of strange, normally those who are great players are the ones people should be targeting.

A.  Yeah, in my opinion too!

Q.  Did you have a strategy before entering the house?

A.  Not to get evicted!  I was going to let actions speak louder then words.  Last time, the sovereign six went after me because they listened to April and they listened to Maggie.  They didn’t let my actions be the cause for my nomination.  I was going to give season six the benefit of the doubt and it really didn’t work out in my favor.  I gave Chill Town the benefit of the doubt and it didn’t work in my favor.  That’s what happens in this game, but I had fun and I think I played a decent game.  Now, we’ll see what happens in the end.

Q.  Did you do anything to prepare for the show before coming back to All Stars?

A.  Actually, because I was in Chicago modeling, I kept myself in really good shape.  But, once I knew that June came around, I wasn’t going to be able to take any more modeling jobs.  I was like, screw it, I’m eating what I want.  I was embarrassed with my shape this season.  I was not happy with it, but like I said I wasn’t there to make anybody else happy.

Q.  There also weren’t that many physical competitions as well.

A.  Yeah, there weren’t really any physical competitions this year so oh well, I had my fun.

Q.  Well, once you got done with the season six alliance you hooked up with Danielle.  What was it about her that made you so loyal to her?

A.  Because Danielle would be loyal to me.  If Danielle makes a promise to someone, she keeps it. She didn’t want to put Kaysar on the block but she had to because she kept her promise to Howie.  She is someone that keeps her word until you screw her.  Chill Town I really hope has a deal with Janelle, because if they don’t, they got Danielle and Janelle coming after them.  Those are the two baddest girls in that game and they will eat them for lunch.

Q.  Seems like Danielle is doing just that with her goodbye message to you last night.

A.  Oh yeah, I was really impressed with my messages.  I didn’t listen to Chicken George’s because I didn’t want to listen to his rhetoric.  But, I don’t remember what Janelle said either, because I really don’t care.  When it came to Danielle, Will and Boogie’s messages, it made me feel good.  I love the revenge aspect and I hope Danielle is in there now kicking ass right now.  I hope she’s sitting in the HOH room about to nominate someone.

Q.  What are you most looking forward to now that you are out of the house?

A.  I don’t look forward to sequester, sequester sucks.  It means you lost and it’s an everyday reminder that you lost.  But, I want to make sure I am in a good shape of mind and that I can make a good decision on September 12th when the show ends.  I want to make sure that the best player wins the game and hopefully my vote will do that.

Q.  You said you were happy with the way that you went out this season.  What makes this eviction so different for you then last time around?

A.  Well, last year I lost to a bunch of idiots.  This year at least I lost to people who knew what they were doing and played the game.  Last year it was kind of like I couldn’t believe it took them seven weeks of coming after me to realize about the backdoor plan.  It was just like how stupid were they that it took that long?  This year I was going against some badasses and they got rid of me!

Q.  What would you like to say to your fans and supporters?

A.  I would like to say thank you, being voted in by America was just an unreal experience.  It didn’t sink in until a couple days inside the house.  It was really wonderful to be selected for All Stars.  I would like to thank my fans and supporters for giving me the greatest experience of my life.
