After all these years “Jane the Virgin” has come to an end. Rose (Bridget Regan) is finally deceased, Jane (Gina Rodriguez) has signed a book deal bringing her in half a million dollars as she awaits her marriage to Rafael (Justin Baldoni) and Xiomara (Andrea Navedo) and Rogelio (Jaime Camil) are moving to New York for a little while as Rogelio’s show is filmed.

Rafael’s real parents were found, but unfortunately they passed away. Surprisingly, they were a normal couple that lived in Italy and owned a bakery.

Jane and Rafael are getting married and Jane still hasn’t written her vows, which is worrying Rafael. Everyone gives speeches, including Rogelio and Petra (Yael Grobglas). Rogelio tells Raf he would be honored if he called him “dad.” Petra tries not to get emotional, but claims that everyone cries at Villanueva events.

Xo starts thinking she may not want to move to New York. Jane and Alba (Ivonne Coll) tell her this is what she needs to do and that she is just scared. She has always had Alba or Jane near and now she is going to be far away in a new city. They convince her to go. They all sleep together in Jane’s bed, but someone forgets to turn out the light. Alba goes to do it and while she does she reflects on all the memories in that house, from her first moving in to the three of them watching telenovelas to Jane growing up – the heartbreaks and all the happy moments.

It is the morning of the wedding. Jane’s editor did not get her ending for the new printing, but she says it doesn’t matter because she won’t go do something crazy on their wedding day. On the other hand, Rafael who loves Jane might just. He manages to get it done, but the gate won’t open and let his car out to leave. But hey! It’s the wedding and Rafael is feeling that adrenaline. So, he decides to just bust through the gates. A cop sees him and he ends up getting arrested and needing to be bailed out.

Jane tries to call a car, but since the marathon is happening it is unable to get through it. Jane has to run her way in the middle in order to make it. She ends up finally figuring out what she is going to splurge on, which is $5,000 to rent out a bus to go bail out Rafael and then pick everyone up for the wedding. She also pays everyone on board $200.

Petra is trying to stall the wedding since they are late. She shouts, “She’s here!” Everyone obviously thinks it is Jane she is talking about, but it is really J.R. (Rosario Dawson).  She says Rafael called her and made a big speech which made J.R. realize that life is too short and that she loves Petra.

Jane and the wedding party finally show up, after the craziness they just went through. Jane and Rafael cry too hard reading their own vows and decide to just read each other’s to themselves. Alba gives a beautiful speech in Spanish about all the journeys they have gone through. The narrator is finally revealed to be Mateo all grown up, narrating his mother’s book.

At the very end, Rafael asks Jane what the ending of her book was. She says that the book is turned into a telenovela.
