Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?

A) Currently, there are a few projects on hold, so I can’t really expand on that. But I am working on writing again – and that’s something that lights my fire.

Q) What can you tease is new this season on “The Boys?”

A) It’ll break your heart – in a good way.

Q) What kind of backstory were you given between Frenchie and Cherie?

A) No backstory given. Tomer [Capon] (Frenchie) and I met up before shooting to have a bit of fun as the characters and we talked about the type of bond these two shared. Then, I went on and did my own work and he went and did his work. And we just organically made some magic on set. Of course, Eric [Kripke] was there to lead the way when we finally came together on our first day.

Q) Going into Season 2 were you looking forward to working with anyone in particular?

A) Everyone from the cast. I love their energy; they’re all great people. And of course, Eric, our showrunner, and Phil [Sgriccia], our wonderful producer and director.

Q) What have been some of your favorite episodes to have starred in?

A) The thing is, a lot of what we might shoot doesn’t end up in the final cut, which is completely normal. So, a lot of the scenes I liked you might not see. Episode 6.

Q) With such intensity to each episode, how did you shake off a long day of filming?

A) Warm showers and passing out on my bed almost instantly. Truthfully, you don’t have time to shake it off – you’re passing out on your drive home.

Q) You are part of social media. Do you enjoy the instant fan feedback you receive to the series?

A) Most definitely. The fans are really kind and the most supportive and I dig those who think Cherie is a baddie.

Q) What have you personally taken away from being a part of this badass series “The Boys?”

A) Teamwork and learning that having fun on set is possible. It is rare that you see such a unified production – from the cast, to the crew, to the writers, the producers and the showrunner. I’ll always cherish that energy. Heartwarming stuff.

Q) What would you like to say to fans and supporters of you and the work you do?

A) Thank you. I try to avoid social media, but I do sometimes read some of the comments and some of you have been truly kind. I hope my future work speaks to you on some kind of level. And even if it doesn’t, your support really does mean a great deal to me. Be safe.
