Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) I would describe my sound as midtempo electronic pop. My songs tend to have a dreamy, trance-y mood that put you in a euphoric state of mind! I do have some tracks that diverge from this but generally this is how my compositions tend to end up being!

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) I listen to a lot of pop artists but the big ones that influences my songs are Britney Spears, Lana Del Rey, Sia, Bjork and Troye Sivan.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Sunday Sanctuary.”

A) The song is about being happy and spending your Sunday with your loved ones (lover, family or friends). This was the third song I made when I began making songs for my upcoming album and the mood and simple message of the track just clicked with me so much that I decided it will represent the overall arching positive theme of the album.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) I think the simple message of the song is quite relatable to anyone no matter where you are from. The repetition of the chorus also helps as a catchy hook that was instantaneous with a lot of the fans as the preferred single.

Q) How does the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) For the video, one of my close friends was the director. She came up with the concept of rebirth and rejuvenation. Therefore, the video is about two angelic beings in the middle of an empty desert that met each other. Their love and support for each other in turn spreads life around them and eventually it turns into a paradise oasis.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) Yes. I always create the chord progression first. Then, usually instrumentation and melody comes after. I always do the lyrics last because I find it easier to force words into melody instead of the other way around.

Q) How much of hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) In my first album “Night to Myself” I created the entire album from scratch. This time around the final products have assistance from a team of producers who are friends. My songs are always produced at mastered-completion stage, but other producers will have their inputs and remastered it to a higher quality!

Q) What is it about the theme or idea of “Sunday Sanctuary” that also made it a good title for your new EP?

A) The positivity and the uplifting message are the most representative theme that ties all the songs together. “Sunday Sanctuary” is also a very beautiful name for an album in my personal opinion!

Q) What tracks off the EP hold a special place in your heart and why?

A) Since I created all four tracks, each have a special place in my heart. “Paradise” was the first track I finished for this project and is the appetizer of the EP. “Sunday Sanctuary” is a favorite for the obvious reasons and was chosen as the first single. “Summer Fire” was the cutest and breeziest track that I made. It was one of the longest track that I made until I’m happy with it. “See It Through” is still one of my favorites lyrically because it was partly autobiographical but also the easiest to write.

Q) Sunday Sanctuary Part 1 is out now. What can you tease about how many future parts you have in mind?

A) Sunday Sanctuary Part 2 is coming out in March 2022, which includes a further four tracks. These tracks are more fun and sexier in nature and is the second theme of the album. My newest single from this EP is called “Make Me Insane” came out January 07, 2022.

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) As I am first and foremost a music producer, I am hesitant to perform and is focusing on releasing music digitally only! But I would say I would definitely love to perform in venues where my music can be showcased in a more theatrical way rather than a simple band set up

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) My dream is probably Britney Spears or Rihanna.

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) I am currently loving Lana Del Rey’s newest album Blue Banisters. The songs felt like poems and her lyrical content is always top-notch!

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Actually, since I am quite introverted, I don’t engage in social media that much. I just posted what I think is cool, but beside that I hardly surf social media at all! So, I guess I treat it more like an online diary?

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) Thank you for listening and supporting my songs! It means the world to me!
