Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) I’d describe my sound as Electro Pop and RnB House, with the distinctive touch of intertwining electronic production with eastern melodies & vocal harmonies to give it a unique and exotic flavor… the perfect clash between East and West!

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Sting, Craig David and Michael Jackson to name a few.

Q) Toronto has become quite the popular music scene. What do you think it is about the city that has made it such a great place for musicians to prosper?

A) Yes, Toronto has become a popular music scene. I believe the multicultural heart of the city plays a pivotal role in bringing different cultural and musical influences into the music scene, which offers listeners a fresh unique sound.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Love in Every Language.” What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) “Love in Every Language” is all about spreading love and positivity in the world and expressing love as a universal language that connects people all over the world. The message of the song is Universal Love and that’s why I believe a lot of people can connect to it.

Q) How does the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) The song is upbeat and vibrant, and so the video is also very colorful, vibrant and full of movement. Also, in terms of casting we have people from all different backgrounds, cultures and ethnicities vibing and dancing to the song which again represents “Love in Every Language” as a universal language everyone understands.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) It’s always different. I write a lot.  Writing is how I express myself and my feelings. So, a lot of times it starts with the lyrics, and I will hear a melody in my head while I’m writing. Sometimes I start writing the song on my guitar while playing chords, and other times my producer sends me a beat that resonates with me right away and I start vibing and writing to it.

Q) How much of hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I am very hands on when it comes to every aspect of my craft. I am very particular about what I imagine in my head and like to be involved in the entire creative process to bring the piece to life.

Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming soon?

A) Yes, currently I am finishing my 2ndEP and working on a full album.

Q) You have performed all over from places like Dundas Square to the LA Convention Center. Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) LA Convention Centre was one of my favorites, especially because it was divine intervention how I got booked for that show and performing in front of the entire Tony Robbins team was a heartfelt moment I’ll never forget. Also, Toronto Dundas Square and Metro Toronto Convention Centre are amongst my favorites because they’re iconic venues in my hometown and it’s always so exciting to perform in the city I grew up in!

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) I’d love to do a song with ZHU, Timbaland, Bia and my all-time favorite Sting.

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) I listen to a lot of different kinds of music. Some of my favorites include ZHU in terms of production and sound design. I really dig Sam Ryder in terms of his songwriting and vocal abilities. Also, I really enjoy Bia and Russ. They both have great music, dope lyrics and they’re self-made independent artists.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Yes, I am on social media, mainly on Instagram. Social media is a great way for people to connect from all over the world. The fact that you can reach someone all the way on the other side of the planet with a click on your phone is something that I’m grateful for.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) I love my fans and I’m grateful for every single person that has supported me on this journey. I promise you… The best is yet to come!
