Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Boys in Jersey.”

A) We were writing the song (my dad, some friends, and I) and we couldn’t decide what to write about. Eventually, they all decided that we should write a love song. I responded with “but all the boys in Jersey suck.” And it struck us that that’s what we needed to write the song about, boys in Jersey.

Q) What has been the reactions from fans and listeners to the track?

A) From what I can tell they’re enjoying it, which is super gratifying for me.

Q) You’re out on the Boys of Summer Tour. What has it been like performing the song live?

A) Oh, it’s been a blast! The tour ended recently, which was sad, but I met a lot of really cool people. Performing the song live was so much fun it’s such a fun song to sing.

Q) With the release of the song, is there a full-length album or EP in the works?

A) Maybe. [winks] Guess you’ll have to wait and find out. But in all honesty, yes, there is going to be some more fun stuff to follow.

Q) What message do you hope people take away from “Boys in Jersey?”

A) I want them to take whatever they need. I feel like my job as a musician is to give them the music and for the listener to take away whatever they’re missing, wanting or needing.

Q) We mentioned that you’re currently out on tour. Where are some of your favorite places to perform?

A) Performing in Philadelphia and Long Island was loads of fun. Every city I visited was a blast, everyone was nice and extremely supportive.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) I would love to collaborate with Freddie Mercury but he’s not around anymore. So, I’d say Ann Wilson or Lindsey Stirling. I love Ann Wilson’s voice. And Lindsey Stirling is a really great violinist and I think a rock/pop violin mash up would be cool.

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) Recently I’ve started listen to Billie Eilish and The Band Camino. Billie Eilish has such a cool way of writing and producing her music and The Band Camino have a very 80’s vibe that I really dig.

Q) You’ve been making music since you were quite young. What advice would you give to up-and-coming musicians?

A) Keep working hard and have tons of fun doing it!

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) Thank you so very much I really appreciate everything thing you do for me and my music. I hope you enjoy all the wonderful stuff to come!
