Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) I would say my sound is Pop/R&B /Dance

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Some of my influences are Mariah Carey, Boyz II Men, TLC and many of the early 90s artist.

Q) How do your South Florida roots play a role in the music you create?

A) I think that being from South Florida plays a big role in my new and upcoming music. We’re a different breed down here. It’s hard to explain. [laughs]

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Radio.”

A) I wanted to do a song about sex, but I didn’t want it to be derogatory and in your face, so we came up with this clever double entendre.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) It’s a fun upbeat song that you can sing along to. And if you’re not a virgin, you might just be able to relate to this song and enjoy it and maybe reminisce about a similar scenario.

Q) How does the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) Well, I had to keep it clean, which is annoying but the only message in general about this song or video is about me trying to get someone home and put on nothing but the radio.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) I don’t really have a specific process for writing. I usually like some music before so I can feel inspired.

Q) You got to work with Carlos Battey on “Radio.” What made his help invaluable on this song?

A) Carlos was a HUGE help on this song. The man is a genuine talent.

Q) Sean McMillion came in and lent a hand with this song. How much of hand do you, personally, have in the production of your music?

A) I’m in the studio with the producers from the very first note. Everything gets created right in front of me. I’m very specific with certain things. Sean and I have worked on most of my projects together and he just gets me and always knows where I’m tryna go with a song.

Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?

A) I really hope so. I just have to lock myself in the studio and focus.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) I think Chris Brown would be dope to collaborate with.

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) I’m not really listening to anyone specific at the moment, but I like a lot of the new music that’s out.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Social media is the fastest way to connect to my fans and it’s cool to just be able to talk to them whenever you want.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) I would like to say thank you so much for all of the support you have shown. I’m just getting a started so get ready.
