Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) Eclectic, energized and fun

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) I have many influences from Fleetwood Mac to 70s funk. Right though to Happy Hardcore, Piano House and pop music

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Forever Young.”

A) It exuded fun and I really enjoyed putting my spin onto the track.

Q) How did you come to work with burwell on this new track?

A) My manager at the time sent the song over in its original form and I really vibed with the lyrical content. So, I got into the studio and made a version that I felt encapsulated the energy and fun it exuded.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) I think people connect with the title. Nobody really wants to grow old, but if you can hold onto that inner child you can live a youthful fun life right into old age.

Q) How does the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) It’s about packing up, quitting your everyday and just doing what you are passionate about. Make life work for you.

Q) What is your process for creating songs?

A) I have many processes. Either I make a backing track and send it to vocalists/songwriters. I start a project from scratch with songwriters/vocalist in the studio or I am sent songs for me to produce into my vision of the song.

Q) How much of hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I produce a lot of my music from start to finish myself in my studio. But sometimes I will send to a mastering engineer if I feel I can’t get over a dynamics hurdle. I also collaborate a lot with other producers/artists.

Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?

A) I’m not sure for my genre an album would be beneficial at this moment. So, the plan is to release some more singles before the year is out and see what happens next year

A) As a DJ/producer, where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) I must admit I enjoy pretty much every gig, but one of my favorites was The Spirit of London Festival in São Paulo. Fifteen thousand people all there for the music – the atmosphere was electric. And I enjoyed Ruby Skye in San Fran and the ottakringer brauerei in Vienna was another great place. There is so many other cities and venues I’ve visited off the back of my gigs too many to mention!!

Q) You have worked on songs for Katy Perry, Lizzo, Selena Gomez and many more! Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) I really love working with up and coming artists because it’s nice to see them develop into amazing artists in their own right.

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) I love The 1975 at the moment and Phantoms

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) It’s a direct place to engage with me and I really do try to reply to everyone as they have took the time to reach out. I feel you get some good feedback as well to develop into a more relevant producer off the back of your connection with fans and supporters of your music.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) Thanks for taking the time to listen and enjoy my music. There is much more content coming soon and “Forever Young” is the beginning of a new wave of music from me.
