Continuing at the strip club Two Cups (James Jordan) is delighted to learn he’s able to take one of the ladies home. The other agents enjoy the wildness of the night while remaining alert. In order to take the woman home, there is an intense checkout process that includes finger prints being recorded.
Cruz (Laysla De Oliveira) and Josephina (Genesis Rodriguez) continue to entertain the man from the club by taking turns making out with him. They have secured access to his home and while one seduces him, the other sets up a camera. The other portion of the Lioness team enter the apartment while they are on top of Cade (Dylan S. Wallach). Once Joe (Zoe Saldaña) enters the room, he knows he’s been set up. He requests a lawyer and Joe laughs in his face and tells him she would want one too but they’re not the FBI. With his life threatened, he begins to give them the information they want. They uncover the code name Rooster Kenny Ridwan) as a new target to look into. Joe instructs one of the team to make coffee since they are in for a long night. Tucker (LaMonica Garrett) instills fear into Cade to make him continue to cooperate.
The following morning, Two Cups gathers his things to leave. There is a close up in the camera in the bedroom and he walks downstairs to see the woman seated at the kitchen table with two men from the club now inside. They instruct him to take a seat. The information he left led back to an alias. They provide him with photos and knowledge there is two hours of footage. It is clear this is set up to extract money from men. The CIA break down the door and arrest the men while Kaitlyn (Nicole Kidman) strolls in. Two Cups laughs with the team and tells them he is a method actor when they ask if he really slept with the woman.
Joe watches a monitor of Cade’s heart rate as they track him walking through a college campus. They have members set on site too as he heads to meet Rooster. Joe gives the greenlight for the team to head onto campus. A seemingly innocent college student is grabbed by the team before they drive off. They take the student to the CIA headquarters. Kaitlyn enters the room to break down what exactly he is being charged with and he seems to already know why he was taken. Joe and Kaitlyn play good cop, bad cop to gain information from Rooster. Joe shows how she’s wonderful at her job by instantly getting him to comply.
Kyle and Alyssa (Elizaveta Neretin) enter the integration room to speak with one of the men captured earlier with Two Cups. Kyle (Thad Luckinbill) shows his hand that he’s able to know all the information he needs to before he even enters the room. Making it impossible for him to be lied to. Alyssa closely monitors the captor’s reaction. She has proven herself to the team to be great at being able to gain information this way. Tucker and other FBI agents enter the room to escort him to prison after Kyle gives his breakdown. He instantly begs for another chance to tell the truth and Kyle obliges. The man is now introduced to Alyssa. Upon hearing her speak Russian, he is bewildered realizing she is a double agent. Given the fact they told him this, he knows now he will never be let free. It is now a game of what level he’ll be inducted into.
Kaitlyn updates Westfield (Michael Kelly) and Mullins (Morgan Freeman) on the latest information learned from these takedowns. The CIA has excluded the FBI from these takedowns and these agents are not angered. Kaitlyn is amused by this. The issue at hand appears to be American secrets stolen and traded. Mullins shuts down the arguing over technicals being more alert to exactly what information has been breached. Joe enters the meeting with more information she gained from Rooster. Though he seems innocent, he was an activated agent working closely with a professor. Joe and the FBI director (Jessalyn Gilsig) butt heads a little on their own experiences in past cases like this. The FBI is completely taken back with the lengths the Lioness team goes to get their evidence. Kyle continues on with the information he found. Mullins is now interested in what next steps look like. Joe points out his was a big splash of a takedown, meaning others will clam up. However, this is partially what they wanted. Sources may reach out to the CIA to find a safe way out in fear they would be caught out next. Before the meeting breaks, Kaitlyn announces she has something else to say that requires a certain level of clearance. Joe and Kyle go to leave the room given they don’t have it but Westfield prompts them to stay. There is a list of reputable names that Alyssa has on her ‘honeypot’ file. Kaitlyn is looking for what should be done next now they have this information and know the Russians have it too. Joe presents a good plan with her spy knowledge. They can present the information and not offer immunity. By letting them retire, there would be no legal repercussions and saves face. Mullins likes this idea and splits up the directors to contact specific names on the list.
Kyle goes in for another round of interviewing their captive. The information he originally provided all checked out. This means it is information the FBI already knew so it is useless to them. He is determined to catch something new. He lightly tells him about the attack on Joe and fishes out more information. He knows there is more to the story. The Lioness team goes to arrest the corrupt professor. He makes the mistake at pushing Cruz and she punches him before making an arrest. Tucker asks why their team is the one getting him when they could have someone else do it. Joe says she is angered by the choices he makes and the good life he lives. She wants to look him in the eyes when his world crumbles.
The episode ends with Joe returning to the safehouse to share a drink with Neal (Dave Annable). In light of their recent arguing, they have a soft moment that reminds the audience of their love. In a quick flash to the present timeline, the plane with Joe lands in a still unknown to the audience location. She is transported to a car and driven off of the airfield.
