Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) I love Pop music. My sound is a blend of pop, dark pop, indie pop with soul and hip hop influences too.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) My musical influences include Amy Winehouse, Billie Eilish, Stevie Nicks and Nessa Barrett. There are so many great artists to listen to!

Q) Please tell us the story behind your last single “Boy.”

A) “Boy” is about realizing that you’re better off on your own despite having history with someone. It emphasizes personal growth and independence.

Q) What was the song writing and production process like with Guy Eckstine and Paul Pesco? What came first, the music or the lyrics?

A) The music and lyrics kind of happened simultaneously for this one and then Guy Eckstine and Paul Pesco produced and mixed the song. The production process varies from song to song.

Q) How about your new single and video for “Buried Alive?”

A) I hope “Buried Alive” conveys self-love and emphasizes how triggering comparison can be to our mental health. I want us to celebrate ourselves and our individuality rather than hiding your true self and conforming to societal norms. A friend helped me with the vision for the video early on and I fell in love with the idea. In the studio it was great to compose a song which evoked a cinematic and lush production.

Q) Other releases also include “New You” that was produced by Guy Eckstine and Joe “Legacy” Lindsay and “Bedroom,“ “Self Made,” “Rebound,” “Downing In Bacardi,” “Lovers In The Night” were produced with Guy Eckstine (Herbie Hancock, Vanessa Williams, Chris Botti) and Paul Pesco (Madonna, Jennifer Lopez). What attracted you to work with them?

A) At the recommendation of a family friend they were brought to me through my dad. They have amazing credentials and do great work. I am so thankful to have worked with all of them.

Q) “Boy” definitely feels like is about not allowing a toxic relationship to dictate your or even ruin your life, a message which implies whoever is listening is better off without their said “boy” or significant other. It encourages independence and standing up for oneself. What do you hope people take away from it?

A) That it’s worth it to walk away although that might sound intimidating. It’s necessary to be able to love with yourself unconditionally before you can properly love someone else.

Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future following your new release “Buried Alive?”

A) YES!!!! I am working on a project, but I can’t discuss it yet.

Q) Which of your songs stands out as a personal favorite for you that continues to keep a special place in your heart and why?

A) My personal favorite right now is an unreleased song of mine, “Back to Hell,” which I am so excited for everyone to hear.

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) Nessa Barrett’s album Young Forever. It’s the most relatable album I’ve ever heard.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Everyone is on social media these days and it’s the easiest way to connect with others. Platforms like Instagram and TikTok are great ways for me to promote myself and my music.

Q) What would you like to say to fans and supporters of you and your music?

A) Thank you!!!!! I love and appreciate all of you so much.
