Q) Where do we pick up with Rosa and the family in Shazam! Fury of the Gods?

A) When the film begins, Mamma Rosa and Victor (Cooper Andrews) are all living in peace. Things take a quick turn, as they find out all their kids are superheroes!

Q) How have they adjusted to having a superhero in the family?

A) Well, more than one! Mamma Rosa sees they are in danger, and she is ready to protect all her cubs.

Q) Rosa and Victor have opened their home up to Billy. Are they concerned at all about putting their family at risk with him being a superhero?

A) They don’t have that much time to react when they find out!

Q) Going into this new film some incredible new costars were added! Were you hoping to share a scene with someone(s) in particular?

A) So many incredible names came to join us in the sequel, what an honor! I wish I had a scene with Dame Helen Mirren, but I share a scene with Wonder Woman – so I’m not complaining. It’s a total dream come true!

Q) What kind physical prep did you put in to be stunt and scene ready for the movie?

A) It’s very cool to learn how to put a harness on and be lifted in the air to imagine you’re flying.

Q) What can you tease are some of your favorite moments or scene to shoot for Fury of the Gods?

A) Without a doubt the heart of the movie is summarized in a scene Mamma Rosa has with Billy (Asher Angel), where she tells him he will never age out of his home…and finally Billy calls her “mom” – that will forever be one of my favorite scenes I’ve ever filmed in my career.

Q) With such epic stunts and intense scenes, how did you shake off a long day of filming?

A) Going to a hot yoga class after a long day of filming is the best.

Q) What has it meant to you to be a part of such a popular and empowering franchise like Shazam!?

A) It’s a total dream come true. If you had told that little girl “Martita” growing up in Spain that one day she would be the mother of a superhero…she would’ve never believed it.

Q) The film comes out here on March 17th. How did you celebrate the release?

A) I spent it with family and friends – drinking champagne and thanking God for all the blessings in my life.

Q) What are the other recent projects that you have been busy working on?

A) I’m going to direct and produce my first film in Spain this summer. I’m so excited!

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who are fans and supporters of you and the work you do on our screens?

A) I would say: thank you for your support. We owe everything to our audience and our fans…from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
