Q) Congratulations on the new single “My Last Prayer.” What can you tell us is the inspiration behind the song?

A) The song came to me from a publisher in Nashville right after we released “Love Is Stronger” and it moved me beyond belief….so I knew upon first listen this was a song we had to record. I believe it will speak to and inspire air of people.

Q) Was it difficult to write and record this single and did it help you at all through the difficult time?

A) Well I didn’t write this song, but I felt like it was something I would of written so we had to record it immediately!

Q) Do you think it is important as an artist to express this personal experience through songs and lyrics to help not only yourselves but others out in the world who might be going through a similar situation?

A) Absolutely, I know in my experience I’ve built a career with songs that tell of struggle and overcoming tough times in life.

Q) Why do you think music has provided such a comfort during this time of uncertainty? I think it’s just always been that way…music speaks and it heals. What do you want fans to take away from when listening to “My Last Prayer?”

A) That no matter how far down you go there is still a place to turn…God.

Q) How has life in Nashville influenced you as an artist?

A) I moved to town and only had written a handful of songs in 2004. To be able to write with the best writers I was able to learn the craft, which has turned me into a singer songwriter.

Q) What are some of your career goals for 2020?

A) We are working on new material, writing and recording. So, we’d like to have a new body of work to share with the world.

Q) Are you working towards releasing an EP or album?

A) I would say an EP at the very least, but it could turn into a full-length album. Most likely a stripped down, acoustic, singer-songwriter project.

Q) Who are some artists you are into at the moment?

A) Lee Brice, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson. I feel they are recording the kind of songs I write. So, I definitely can relate to their style.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who are fans and supporters of your music?

A) Thanks so much for keeping this train moving down the track and as long we have their support, we will keep making music! Without them none of this possible!!
