Q) What are the recent projects you have been working on?

A) I haven’t really been doing much acting wise because “Fuller House” has been taking up so much of my time. A week after “Fuller House” ended I got this Panto. In the near future, hopefully, I’ll be doing more stuff. Outside of acting, I have been doing stuff at The Magic Castle.

Q) The Magic Castle is such an exclusive place. What is it like for you to walk the halls?

A) It’s crazy! I never thought I’d be able to do something like that. I just learned about it like a year ago and was like, “Oh, this sounds really interesting.” So, I auditioned for it and got in. Apparently, it’s really exclusive to get in and I didn’t even know. I was like, “Wow! This is crazy!” I started performing there in June and it’s been a blast ever since.

Q) Talk about your role as Prince Harry in the production of A Snow White Christmas.

A) This is not your typical fairytale situation. It’s definitely modified a bit. I play Prince Harry and my father (the king) is telling me to find a wife before Christmas day. I go back to this place where I know I have met this beautiful princess, but no one remembers her or knows her name. I can’t find her anywhere. So, throughout the whole thing I’m looking to find the fairest maiden in the land. It’s really funny! Honestly, everyone has a lot of really funny dialogue in the show. The fourth wall isn’t there so I get to walk through the audience, talk to them and improv. So, it’s really great and I love it.

Q) What did you find challenging about your portrayal?

A) Honestly, I wouldn’t say it’s been a challenge thus far. It’s been easy because it’s just very lighthearted and fun. I feel like I kind of have had a lot of goofy characters in the past. I feel like, myself, am kind of Jackson so it wasn’t super hard to portray him and/or the prince. It’s been really fun!

Q) There are such costumes to this production! What helps you the most when it comes to getting into character?

A) I feel like the difference between him being a prince and not being a prince is body language. I didn’t realize how much body language affected it. Until I started walking like royalty, with my hand behind my back and my other hand in front and the chest out…That element made me think, “Okay, I’m a prince now,” instead of being like a normal person.

Q) There is such an amazing cast! Were you looking forward to sharing the stage with anyone in particular?

A) Oh yeah! I remember walking on for the first time and my very first scene was with Michelle Williams. I remember thinking, “Oh my gosh! This is crazy!” [laughs] I love Destiny’s Child so it was crazy that she was there. It was really just surreal!

Q) What was it like working with iconic choreographers NappyTabs?

A) I didn’t really get to do any choreography. I’m in like one dance scene, but it wasn’t anything crazy. I have a few moves. From the choreography I’ve seen, it’s really, really good. The dancers are just – oh my gosh! They are so talented! They have more talent in their finger than I do my whole-body dancing wise. I’m so bad at dancing! It’s really bad! [laughs]

Q) What are some songs you are excited for viewers to get to see?

A) I will say my favorite dancing number is “Disturbia.” It’s kind of a creepy song and all the dancers are in these really cool costumes. They are dancing like they are robots and zombies. It’s really fun!

Q) What are some of your pre-show rituals?

A) We all go in a circle and hold hands. We just all scream at once for like twenty seconds straight. We get it all out and then go do our thing. It’s great!

Q) What message do you hope people take away from watching A Snow White Christmas?

A) That’s an interesting one. I haven’t actually thought about that. Well, obviously, fairytales have the whole good vs. evil kind of deal and being kind is clearly the number one. More than that, I hope people just start to realize not to take things too seriously because that’s exactly what Panto is. We’re just kind of having fun and not really caring if we mess up because we’ll just kind of recover.

Q) With the holidays approaching, what are some of your personal favorite traditions?

A) My favorite thing to do during this time is to watch Christmas movies. I love watching Christmas movies. I really do. I think my favorite is either Home Alone or Die Hard. I can’t pick between them. I sit down and watch those with my family with some hot cocoa and popcorn and we have a good time. We have a pretty good TV screen in my house so we invite friends over. It’s really fun.

Q) We loved seeing you on “Fuller House.” What does it mean to you to be a part of such an iconic series?

A) It’s been, honestly, one of the best experiences of my life. I wouldn’t be who I am without it. Meeting all of these people and having all of these opportunities and making a second family (that’s really what it feels like)…It’s having all these people that are so close to each other. I’ve never seen another TV show that everyone genuinely loves each other. There is no drama on set and people invite each other to everything. We’re all just super supportive. That’s what is most memorable to me.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of the work you do?

A) Of course, I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me thus far. I wouldn’t be doing any of this without any of you – my friends, family and fans. Listen, I’ve got more coming up and I hope to see you guys there.
