Bonnie (Allison Janney) and Adam (William Fichtner) are enjoying of some breakfast together when the woman says that for her it feels somehow different to do things like that now they are married. Adam doesn’t seem to agree with that, but Bonnie expresses that their marriage certificate says otherwise. Right that moment Christy (Anna Faris) walks in saying that for her it feels different, too. Given the two women comments Adam decides to see for himself if everything is in fact different by trying to get out of his wheelchair, but when he can’t he ends up saying that everything is pretty much the same.

Adam tells Christy that he might need her help waitressing at the bar since he is a couple of waitresses down, but she says that this is the only one night off she has and is behind on her reading for law school. Adam plays his “father” card on her in order to make her help him so she ends up agreeing.

Later that day Bonnie and Christy gather at the cafeteria with the group. While Bonnie attempts to tell them about her wonderful honeymoon and how she managed to wear no clothes for full five days, everyone seems to be more interested in Wendy’s (Beth Hall) new hairdo. Marjorie (Mimi Kennedy) tries Wendy to tell her what happened that triggered such change in her, but the woman just limits herself to say that “what happens at Sandals Orlando, stays at Sandals Orlando.” Bonnie keeps trying to tell them about her vacation and how they had a duck in front of their cabin when Christy interrupts her by asking Wendy how she washes her hair and the woman happily confesses that she just doesn’t.

Andy (Will Sasso) and Jill (Jaime Pressly) arrive at the place as well and the man refers to him as a “police escort” for taking his girlfriend all the way to the cafeteria, but the girls don’t seem to find the comment funny in any way. He also says that he believes that he has arrested Bonnie at least once before and Christy says that he could probably say that to anyone else at the table. Andy and Jill say their goodbyes to each other and then the girl tells them that he will take her later tonight to his cop gym since he likes to show her off. Once again, Bonnie tries to tell about her honeymoon week when Jill sees Wendy and cannot help but to ask her what had happened to her. The other woman just replies with “Orlando.”

Christy is helping Adam at the bar, but unfortunately for her she has to deal with a customer named Marv (Phil Buckman) who is not exactly the definition of nice as he complains that his wings are cold yet he had already eaten four of them. Adam has seen the whole interaction between the two of them and also disagrees with the man’s behavior. Adam asks Tammy (Kristen Johnston), who has been assigned to the kitchen, to make another buffalo wing order for Marv. Christy is confused as she believes that they would reuse the ones that the man left and just heat them in the microwave. Adam tells her that Marv and his group of friends go to the bar every Tuesday and they usually drink their weight in alcohol so he believes they are the reason the bar is still open. Christy offers to pour a drink in the man’s lap and pretend it was an accident as a payback for his behavior, but Adam refuses the idea. Tammy shows up again with a different order and is reprimanded by Adam since she is not wearing a hairnet and she also refuses to do it. Christy goes back to Marv’s table and offers him another round of drinks and the guys makes fun of her once again by saying that dumb blondes are a real thing. One of Marv’s friends, Ed (Mike Kersey), apologizes for the other man’s behavior and tells the woman that his wife just left him. Christy says that she has no doubt that any woman that is stuck with someone like him would dig her way out of his life. Adam calls for Christy and asks her to apologize to Marv for treating him like that, even though he knows that the man offended her first. The woman refuses to do it and decides to leave the place looking very mad. Adam asks Tammy, who has just found her hairnet, to leave the kitchen and assist him with waitressing.

Andy and Jill show up at the cop’s gym ready for their workout. Andy is so proud of the woman that he likes to show her off, but the girl doesn’t seem to be so comfortable with it. They start their routine and Andy tries to show her how he usually works out and asks her if she wants to try it, but the woman says that she will stick to her usual routine that is unexpectedly surprising and intense. In fact, she has managed to make other people gather around her and also blowing her own boyfriend’s mind. When the couple is about to leave Jill notices that she has forgotten her watch in the locker room and goes back to pick it up while the other cops make fun of Andy.

Later that day Christy tells Bonnie about what happened at Adam’s bar and the woman gets mad that her husband didn’t defend her daughter so she says that she will talk to him as soon as he comes back. Christy is happy to know that her mother is actually on her side, but Bonnie tells her that there is no side to pick.

Adam arrives home and when he is about to fall sleep Bonnie tells him that the day is still not over and complains because he didn’t stand up for her daughter. Adam defends himself saying that the girl walked out on him and that he believes the customer is always right. When Bonnie tries to defend her daughter again he tells her that she is not able to pick the girl’s side just like that since now they are married. Things are different and regardless of how many stupid things she would do, he will always have her back. Bonnie shifts her mood and feels good to hear those words from Adam.

The next morning Bonnie asks her daughter to apologize to Adam for her behavior the day before. Christy gets mad that her mother has picked up her husband’s side instead of hers and walks out of the house in a haste. She tells them that she cannot wait to finish school so she can leave the house once and for all. When she leaves, she meets with Mr. Munson (Charles Robinson) who had listened the blonde’s yelling and is a little confused about the woman’s real age.

Christy is still mad about what happened so she calls Marjorie and tells her about the fight with Adam and Bonnie. She says that Adam wasn’t there to help Bonnie when she was in need, but Marjorie believes that the girl’s reaction to the whole situation is only because she feels that Bonnie has abandoned her by picking Adam’s side. She suggests she support her mother now that she has found an stable and healthy relationship. This is not the answer that Christy had expected, but she decides to support her mother nonetheless.

At the bar Adam confesses to Tammy that this is the first time he and Christy have had a fight and he doesn’t know what to do about that. He knows that his wife and daughter have gone through a lot together and he certainly does not expect for Bonnie to agree with him every time. So, he asks for the woman’s advice but she seems to be distracted by his long eyelashes.

On the other hand, Bonnie talks to Mr. Munson about the situation looking for advice. Unfortunately, the chat unexpectedly turns into the man telling a story about his five wives, something that moves Bonnie to immediately walk off.

Andy and Jill are spending some time playing Gotcha. The man has paint stains splattered all over his jumpsuit while the woman only has one. Suddenly, a man starts to choke at the table behind them and Jill tries to help him. Andy also tries to do it and they manage to end up fighting over the man. When they finally help him the man thanks them and Jill questions her boyfriend about his behavior. He tells her that he feels that she is better than him at everything and Jill says that she won’t play the girl for him if that’s what he wants. He tells her that he feels he needs to impress her, but the woman assures him that she has already fallen for him – something that takes him by surprise but makes him happy to hear it.

Christy shows up at Bonnie and Adam’s room and apologizes for her recent behavior. Adam says that Marv was an idiot to Tammy, so he kicked him out. This makes Christy feel as though he was willing to stand up for the other woman but not for her and they go back to square one.

The next day the women gather again at the cafeteria where Jill tells them how he managed to make Andy tell her he loved her. Wendy gets a call and they all know that whoever is on the other side of the line had met her at Orlando.
