The episode opens with Bonnie (Allison Janney) telling someone to hurry up because they have to go. Adam (William Fichtner) says he was looking for his Eagles t-shirt, which Bonnie is wearing. She says it looks better with boobs in it. Adam wonders what doesn’t.

Bonnie says goodbye to Christy (Anna Faris), who looks and sounds sick. Bonnie asks if she is ok and Christy says she is very, very sick.  She tries to go to work, but Bonnie tells her she looks like she is in The Addams Family. Christy says she put on lip gloss and Adam asks if it was grey.

Bonnie tells Christy that she thinks Christy has a fever. Christy insists she can power through because she gave lap dances with the chicken pox. She then says she can’t and goes off to vomit.

Adam and Bonnie go to leave and Christy insists she will be fine.  Adam makes another comment about his shirt being stretched out. Bonnie quips that it would be like him stretching out her thong and he said it was a joke and she laughed.

In the car Adam discusses the times he has been to Eagles concerts. He notices Bonnie isn’t listening and she admits she wants to go home to take care of Christy.  He says they are almost to San Francisco and she wonders if he expects her to hitchhike home. He calls her an Uber and when she gets home she tells Christy that “Mommy is here.” Christy thinks she is hallucinating.

The two women are in the bathroom on the floor while Bonnie takes care of Christy, who can’t stop vomiting.  They reminisce about vomiting while drunk and how they chose drinks that would taste good coming up—-or were minty fresh in Bonnie’s case (so she can get back to making out).

Christy gets ready to leave the bathroom and says Bonnie is a good mom because of all she is doing. Bonnie was she has never said that without other mean words in between.

As Bonnie is taking the TV up to Christy we hear Jill (Jaime Pressly) call to see why Bonnie is not at the meeting.  Bonnie explains the situation and Jill asks why she is lying. Bonnie finally gets the TV to the bedroom and quips that it was easier to get it upstairs than out of a Days Inn. Christy says there is no cable, so Bonnie goes to take it back downstairs when Christy suggests getting the DVD player so she can watch their two DVDs—Dirty Dancing and Sheena Easton’s Seven Minute Stomach. She also wants rainbow sherbet.  This leads to Bonnie having to go to the store, borrow money and the car…When she gets there, she forgets what she was supposed to buy.

At the meeting Jill and Marjorie (Mimi Kennedy) comment on how quickly they cleaned up with two less people. Jill starts smack talking Christy and Bonnie about how everything is easier without them. Tammy (Kristen Johnston) disagrees and Jill tells her she can be honest. Marjorie tells her to be kind, but she, Tammy and Wendy (Beth Hall) join in. Jill even says they can go wherever they want instead of the bistro because Christy and Bonnie aren’t there. They give suggestions but decide on the bistro, even though they don’t have to go.

At the store Bonnie and another mommy (Ellie Reed) look at medicine and talk about their sick kids. The mommy tells Bonnie she is a good mother and Bonnie says she is the third one to say that today, if she is including herself. The mommy goes with the pediatrician recommendation while Bonnie goes with purple flavor. The mommy says she heard it gets easier when they are older. Her kid is two years old and Bonnie admits Christy is forty-one years old.

Bonnie is going downstairs when Marjorie calls to check in on Christy. Bonnie grumbles that she just picked something up.  Marjorie says she can’t see her. Bonnie gives an update and Marjorie calls her a good mom. She says that is the word on the street and says she would have done this earlier if she knew how good it was. Marjorie says who knew it was a well-kept secret. Bonnie says someone should put it on Facebook and hangs up on Marjorie mid-sentence.

Adam comes home and pretends the concert was just ok so Bonnie won’t feel bad. She says she made the choice to put her child first. Adam then reveals he went backstage and gushes over how great it was…noodling guitars, staying out til 3am and getting a picture with the guys.  She says not to push it, even though she just said she had a great night as well. She then goes to take care of Christy, who just threw up on her pillow.

At the bistro Wendy it talking about her fridge getting unplugged and having to throw out food. She goes to the restroom and Marjorie cannot believe Wendy thinks that is a story. Tammy said she lost seven years of her life in prison and cannot afford to sit through this.

Jill says their apex predator is missing and talks about a nature show she watched, which she finally compares it to Bonnie and Christy not being there hence having to listen to Wendy.

Bonnie brings Christy soup, but Christy would rather have a bath. Bonnie says no and that she hasn’t showered or slept in three days. She convinces her to take a nap.  As soon as she leaves, she goes to take a bath.

Adam goes to see Bonnie, who complains about everything that is going on. Adam asks how he can help and she forces him to eat the soup that Christy didn’t want.

Bonnie goes to check on Christy, who is napping. She also left the water on, causing the bathroom to flood. Christy tries to help clean up, but Bonnie says she is driving her crazy.  She then says sorry as Christy cries.  She tells her to put on new PJs and go to bed.

The doorbell rings and she lets the ladies in, but not before she yells at Adam to eat the soup. She then yells at Wendy and breaks down because things are going bad. Wendy goes to help Christy, Tammy goes to get Bonnie tea and Marjorie tells her she needs to take care of herself. She says she can’t take care of Christy if she doesn’t take care of herself. Marjorie suggests a meeting and Jill suggests a manicure. Christy screams she doesn’t want to put on her new PJs and Wendy can’t make her. Bonnie says she is done having kids.

The show ends with Bonnie and Christy at the store. Christy wants a bunch of junk food, which Bonnie reluctantly lets her buy. As Christy runs around getting food, she sees Declan’s mom MacKenzie from earlier in the week. She feels like she failed because Declan is sicker than ever. Bonnie says they are going to get their nails done. MacKenzie says that she should buy her groceries and Bonnie says no.

Christy looks for Bonnie with her arms filled with goodies.  She then says she lost her mom.
