The episode opens in Naomi’s room. She’s still reeling from the revelation that her parents are aliens and never told her. So, Naomi (Kaci Walfall) packs a bag and heads out. On her way out Jennifer (Mouzam Makkar) and Greg (Barry Watson) try to explain, but she says she just can’t and skates off. She’s going to stay with Annabelle (Mary-Charles Jones) for a while.

Later she explains what happened and Annabelle can’t believe it. Naomi says she can’t believe it either. She feels like her life is a lie and she doesn’t know them. When she was growing up she remembers that her mother always cried whenever she had questions about the adoption. Now she feels that there was no sincerity. Plus, Naomi says when she got her powers her parents could’ve helped but they chose to let her feel alone.

There are more revelations later when Naomi goes to speak with Dee (Alexander Wraith) and Zumbado (Cranston Johnson). Naomi wonders why Dee’s wings couldn’t sense that her parents weren’t human. He explains that his wings only pick up on powers. Zumbado explains that not everyone from another world has abilities like he does. He also admits that Naomi’s parents are from the same Earth he and Naomi are from. Naomi is angry because he’s another person who’s been lying to her. But Zumbado says it wasn’t his place to tell her. Also, she was happy and loved.

Naomi wonders how she got to this earth. Dee points out that although she’s not happy with them only Greg and Jennifer can answer her questions. But Naomi still isn’t willing to talk to them so she goes to the woods to get a portion of her birth rock.

Back at Annabelle’s house she’s feeling annoyed that her parents went out of town and left her in charge of her little sister Sophie (Rileigh Eames). Naomi is upset that in addition to everything else happening Nathan’s still giving her the cold shoulder. To recap, she mistakenly accused him of stealing from her locker. The conversation turns to Naomi’s plans for the day. She’s skipping school and taking her birth rock to the alien bar Dee went to.

Greg goes to see Zumbado and they have a very tense conversation. Greg blames Zumbado for the current problems with Naomi, but Zumbado points out that he never told her the whole story and that he and Jen did have Naomi’s entire life to come clean. Greg thinks he set her on the path to finding them out. In the meantime, he wants to talk about a different Naomi related problem. Even though Commander Steel’s out of the picture, they need to take care of the energy signature at S.T.A.R labs that led him to her.

Annabelle takes Sophie to the McDuffies’ to pick up a few things for Naomi, but she runs into Jennifer.  It’s awkward, because Annabelle’s always like Jennifer and Greg, but she feels compelled to support Naomi. Jennifer is mostly just worried and tries to inquire about how Naomi’s been doing. But Annabelle feels like telling her anything would be betraying her confidence. So, she apologizes to Jennifer and leaves without grabbing Naomi’s things.

Naomi gets a ride to the bar from Lourdes (Camilo Mareno) and things go sideways fast. She pulls out the rock hoping someone can help her identify it, but the man at the door tries to take it from her. A group of people try to take it from her but then Akira (Stephanie March) intervenes and scares them away.

Akira, Lourdes and Naomi go to the comic book shop. Lourdes still doesn’t know the whole story but Akira and Naomi talk. Akira finds it odd that in comic books aliens are worshiped but in the real world people are afraid of them. She also tells Naomi that she knew about Greg and Jennifer because she knew them on Earth-29. Naomi is sick of people keeping secrets from her. And then learns that a device Akira inventec called a transmatter cube brought her to this world.

Greg and Zumbado go to what’s left of S.T.A.R. labs and erase Naomi’s energy signature. Greg is surprised to realize how much damage Naomi is capable of doing. Zumbado says this is just the tip of the iceberg. Then, Greg gets another surprise when he’s called to Naomi’s school because she’s been caught skipping school.

Annabelle and Sophie go to see Dee. When she says she needs her help he assumes there’s another crisis. However, Annabelle just feels bad that she can’t mediate the conflict between the McDuffies. Dee tells her to just do what she’s always done: be there for Naomi.

Jennifer and Greg have a tense conversation with Naomi when they pick her up. They’re upset she skipped school because she’s never done that before. She can’t believe they’re reprimanding her. They remind her they’re still her parents and try to apologize for lying to her. But Naomi’s still angry and wonders if they ever would’ve told her the truth.  They say they did planned to, but they just could never find the words. And they tell her she doesn’t have to forgive herself right away, but it’s time to come home. Naomi storms off.

Afterwards, Naomi trains with Dee and he notices she is still angry. Naomi tells her that a part of the reason this is so hard is because she’s never fought with her parents. They’ve always been her constant and now she can’t trust them. She doesn’t want to go home but Dee encourages her to try and work things out with them. And tells her she’ll survive this.

What Naomi ends up doing is going to a rave with Lourdes. They dance and take selfies. Then, they’re joined by Annabeth. Things are light between them until Lourdes tries to kiss Naomi. Naomi tells her that she has a boyfriend; however, Lourdes points out she’s been hanging out with her non-stop these past few days. She feels like Naomi has been using her to make Nathan jealous and it’s unfair. She then leaves.

Elsewhere, Akira goes to see Zumbado. Akira still doesn’t believe that Zumbado didn’t betray her on Earth-29 but they have a common interest: Naomi. Still she’s worried and tells him that Naomi brought her birth stone to the bar and flashed it around. She thinks it might be dangerous to put all their faith in a teenager. Then, she tells him that they’ve got another problem: someone named Mac knows about Naomi.

Speaking of her, Mac (Briana Venskus) tracks Naomi down to the rave and demands that Naomi come outside with her or the people at the rave will be hurt.   She says Brutus sends his regards and he wants Naomi to join their side. Naomi says she’ll have to decline. Mac pulls out a sword and a fight ensues. Then, Zumbado and Akira arrive to save Naomi.

When all is said and done Naomi decides it’s time to go home. She thanks Annabelle for everything but says she can’t keep hiding out at her house. Once she arrives home her parents are glad to see her but she makes it clear things aren’t okay between them. They understand and say they’ll be there when she’s ready.

Back at the dealership Akira and Zumbado discuss Naomi again. Akira can see how powerful she is, but she still thinks the fate of the world is a lot to put on a teenager. She says that if this goes badly that Naomi will lose everyone she loves. Then, Zumbado says that they’ll just have to protect them.
